Update: nothing really! I had 4 embryos sent for PGD testing about a week ago. Still waiting for results. If we have any normals, they wouldn't go back in till January. If we have no normals, I think we're done.
My favorite thanksgiving dessert is pecan pie! My husband is appalled by this, but I just loooove it.

Hi! Hoping this round has a normal for you!
Update on us: DH got the okay for a cryo this week. He goes Wednesday for his sample. He has been on clomid for three weeks so hoping that helps and also the gluten is gone (or that gluten was the issue. I pray it was). If he has a good sample we will be ready to go! My clinic does batches around the holidays-which makes sense but would also push me out to Jan.

@LibbyLou: Oh my good luck to you and DH! Praying and wishing and hoping it WAS the gluten!

My last cycle I took HCG and my hormones looked a lot more normal. If we wanted to try this month, the doctor suggested taking estrogen too.
But I had my gallbladder taken out today, so I think we'll be abstaining for a few weeks.

@MaryM: Oh my, hope the surgery went smoothly and you have a fast and comfortable recovery! So glad to hear that your hormones are normalizing a bit!

@LibbyLou: @SweetiePie: thanks. The belly button incicision is the worst (it hurts and keeps bleeding)
And I am NOT a fan of Percocet.

Oh, dessert wise, my favorite was my mom's apple pie (pre-celiac).
I've asked her to make an apple crisp this year

@MaryM: apple crisp is amazeballs. Oh man that might be a tie with the pecan pie! The oat and brown sugar crumble on top...making my mouth water!

@MaryM wishing you a speedy recovery!
@LibbyLou my DH had really good results from taking clomid. I want to say it took a month or two but fingers crossed for your SA results.

@Mrs. Pajamas: oh that's good to know! By the time I do my egg retrieval it'll be 3mos on clomid for him. My RE didn't want to do ER unless we had backup. I didn't even know men did clomid!

@LibbyLou I know it's certainly not the conventional use for it but my DH saw a male fertility specialist and that's what he recommended. We don't plan on doing any more retrievals because we were able to freeze plenty of embryos but my DH is actually still taking it because it ups his testosterone a bit and he said he feels better. Good luck! Will be thinking good thoughts and good numbers/motility!

@Mrs. Pajamas: @LibbyLou: my best friends husband went on clomid for low sperm count/low testosterone. It worked wonderfully for them!
