If price were no object, I think it'd be pretty incredible to take the kids to see the Great Pyramids! Maybe the Grand Canyon too... basically big huge things that make their eyes go wide with wonder.
When they're older, I'd love to take them to major world capitals - like Paris or Rome. Never been to either of them myself! I've barely traveled, other than studying abroad in Japan in college.

Ireland! I think that would be such a fun place to take a kiddo. Sheep...green fields....what's not to love?
And definitely out west! Yellowstone, Yosemite, etc. I really want to buy an RV someday.

We would just do a massive grand tour of Europe. We'd love to take her back to London and Cambridge and show her where she was born someday and then follow that up with a big European vaca and go everywhere.

When they're old enough to appreciate it.... Venice! Or Rome, because there is so much history there.
We are really into natural wonder--DH and I have visited 13 national parks together--so we really want to take family trips across America to see the parks, if possible.

At the age they're at now? A resort like Atlantis in the Bahamas or another fancy resort that is kid-friendly.
At 2.5 and 10-months, we can barely manage a long trip at the mall before they start to lose their you-know-what. Sightseeing, lots of walking, or long train rides etc. would be out of the question.
But, in 8 years? I would love to take them to Greece. We could sightsee, take in the rich history, and do our favorite thing--boat! And maybe sail? I would want to stay somewhere that overlooked the water.
I would also love to take them to Thailand. I've always wanted to go there.

I hope when my girls are old enough to remember it, we can revisit some places we took them to/lived in when they were babies - Thailand, the Philippines, Japan, etc. I'd of course love to take them new places too, but there's just something special about going back to a place where you have such happy memories.

DH and I haven't made it to Antartica yet so that would be cool. We have the done an African safari and it would be an amazing family vacation. We will definitely do that when the kids are older.

We would love to do a year long "sabbatical" maybe even twice and spend a year living somewhere else and traveling from there. Turkey and France are at the top of the list for home bases. I would really love to make it happen when our kids are in late elementary school but there are a lot of things that would need to fall into place unless we win the lottery!

@Mrs. Sketchbook: Yey Ireland! We have taken LO to Ireland twice so far - but all my family live there so we have a built in excuse. It is really great for kids.
As LO gets older, I would like us to take more trips in Europe with Ireland as a home base but I have always had this idea that I would take my kid(s) to the Holy Land when they are close to graduating high school. It is something that I realllly want to do, but I know that there are safety concerns in some areas 
Hopefully that will change one day.

But topping our list are Germany and China. And if possible Ireland. DH is German Irish and I'm Chinese. We want them to know / see where they come from. But we definitely won't do those trips till they're old enough to remember.

A definite must will be when DS is around 10 or so we can do Japan and Korea. My mom is from Japan and DH taught in Korea for two years.

Everywhere! My parents took us on a grand tour around China during high school, I def want to do that for my kids so they know more about their culture/background.
Of course, other places are typically places I've never even been to like Egypt, Africa, many parts of Europe, etc!

We did this on our honeymoon and it was INSANE. I think there was a 9 or 10 year old in there with us?
I definitely want to take LO on safari, but that won't be for many many years--I wouldn't take a child younger than 10 or 12 on safari. I'd also like to take him/other LOs to London and Paris!

Everywhere!! Realistically though we hope to take them to Disney some day. Not going to happen right now but it's in the 5 year wish list!
