Nope. We'll take a baby anytime. I have irregular cycles and difficulty ovulating, etc. so I'll take a baby any month of the year.

We waited to TTC until I knew my due date would be after my work anniversary to be sure I got the max benefits. For the next one we will skip to avoid Thanksgiving through Christmas.

We had talked about skipping TTC for a December baby, we conceived a November baby so it was never put into action.

No, It took us over a year to conceive our first which is due in a week and a half. The year included a messy early MC, so I wasn't skipping any chances when I missed a few months due to that.

I keep going back and forth about avoiding for the next month/six weeks because my brother had a 12/20 birthday and was always bummed about it. At this point though we've been trying for 5 months and I've ovulated one time, so if I ovulate at a less than ideal time it seems stupid not to try.

We skipped one month when TTC for DS2 once I knew I was switching jobs as I didn't want to start the job pregnant - I was returning to a previous position that I had started when I was 7 months pregnant with DS1. I ended up pregnant 3 weeks after starting the job though so I guess it didn't make much difference.

We moved in February and we were trying to wait until after the move to get pregnant- turns out we conceived in late Jan/ early Feb so I was about five seconds pregnant during the move hahaha. We did not really think about the fact that we are going to end up with two kids that have birthdays about 3 weeks apart (Oct 12, 2013 for DD and Nov 1, 2016 is the due date for our second). I hope they want to share parties lol.

We actively tried specifically for a Christmas baby he was born a week before Christmas (another 12/17 HB baby).
If we have a second, I'd love to have a July baby.

The first time we were ttc, we waited until a good time in my grad school trajectory to start trying. This time, we started ttc, then had a chemical, waited a month on dr's recommendation, and then held off another month because of an opportunity that came up for me for the fall semester (I'm going to be teaching a class and didn't want to be due during the semester!).

We felt ready to TTC months ago, but we decided to wait a few months to avoid having a newborn during our work's busy season. It is just too crazy in November and December, and no one else can do my husband's job, so he would miss out on bonding time with the new baby.

We also didn't want a Christmas baby so we skipped a month,,,and DD2's bday is the end of January.

Yup. We both have busy seasons at work at didn't want me to be due/on leave during those times. My busy season is Sept-December and DH's is January -March. If we didn't get pregnant in time for a June due date, we would have stopped for a few months.
