I stopped working completely and my husband took off two weeks. My job would have let me take FMLA but not maternity leave.

Not me personally, but - in grad school I had a professor who took a year of paternity leave when he and his wife adopted twins. I thought that was awesome and set the bar high for my future husband!

3 days. We bonded beautifully despite my work challenges. We had no option, since M's birth was unanticipated. I did take a month in the summer where I only went in part time.
