We use gDiapers, which is a little different, but they have newborn, S, M, L and XL. My son went all the way to XL before he was toilet trained (but wore size M from 4 months until 15 months). I think a lot of it also depends on the shape of your child. My son was tall and a chunker, so he filled out the sizes more quickly than maybe a smaller petite child would. He was probably between 32-35lbs when we potty trained at 2.5 years.

My LO is potty trained and out of diapers but her BGs wouldn't work on her anymore. 30lbs.

H is 15 months and weighs 20 lbs. I can't imagine that she will outgrow her diapers before potty training, especially her AppleCheeks.

I guess it all depends on when you potty train...but my 22 month old is 30 lbs and the BG elementals still fit. I have one more snap I can open, so yes I would say they should fit most kids to potty training.

@pui: at almost 3 and 29-30lbs. I still put her in a diaper overnight occasionally when she doesn't want to pee before bedtime. I guess they still fit on the last snaps but LO says they are "too tight" and uncomfortable.

We use freetimes and he's almost 16 months and 26 lbs and still on the middle rise. I easily think they'll last through potty training and kid #2

We used the 4.0's until potty training at age 2.

Sorry I didn't respond earlier, I didn't use Applecheeks with my first so I'm not sure how long they will fit. I think also it depends on the shape of the child. My DS is growing out of size 1's because he's got some thighs!

We did BumGenius. They are rated to 35 pounds (potty training).

@pui: My baby is 1, so no. I just know that based on the reviews, and the product description, they fit until potty training with the average baby.

@pui: Yep, so far mine have lasted until potty training for sure!

@lamariniere: we used gdiapers too and loved them!

My LO was not a tiny baby so we started in the size small gdiaper and she was in those for a few months. We moved pretty quickly to the size medium and stayed in them until she was potty trained (right after she turned 2). I think she was about 25lbs at that time. They were a pretty tight fit but they worked great. I love gdiapers so much!

@lamariniere: if she's petite I'm sure you'll be able to make the mediums work until she's 2 or very close to 2. My LO has always been around 70-80th percentile on the growth charts so she's not tiny and we were able to keep her in mediums until a week past her 2nd birthday when we decided to try potty training. they were kind of looking small for her but no leaks or anything even overnight. I kind of wanted to keep her in them for naps and nighttime bc they worked so well but I started using pull ups and called them "night night underwear" so we could keep the potty training process moving along.

DS is almost 2, is 30 pounds, and 3' tall. We have bumgenius and rumparooz and he's on the largest setting, but still has plenty of room in them. I doubt he will outgrow them before potty training.

Our BG 4.0's lasted until potty training at 27m and for overnight wear for another 6ish months. Honestly I think I could still get one on my almost 4 year old bc of how long and skinny he is! He's 36-38ish lbs.

they lasted us really well until 15 months, but then i had fit issues and leaking. we took a break because i was going crazy and now she's pretty much potty trained at almost 24 months. i could have pushed through with them but we traveled so much, it wasn't worth it. now i know some of the issues for next kiddo, i have better tools up my sleeve!
