following!! LO #1 is only 2 and we've moved a twin bed into our room along side our king but I'm not confidant that she'll actually be in her own room by June... especially since this week, she's still not interested in staying in her bed until after she's fallen asleep in our bed....

Hubby is 100% opposed to another body in our bed... so I'm getting a cosleeper... but it will not fit with a king and a twin in our room already!!

LOL #1 was 17 months when #2 was born. We side-cared the crib to the bed (king size) the day we brought home #2. #1 sleeps most of the night in the crib or right on the edge of the bed and crib and #2 sleeps in the middle of the bed in between hubby and me. It's working out pretty well so far, #2 is 6 months old now.

We did divide and conquer. DH slept with LO1 in the guest room (queen bed) until we felt LO2 was old enough for us all to cosleep (9/10months). We now share the bed (king) with both babies (15 months and 3yo) and don't see an end in sight. We love the arrangement.

I'd love to cosleep FOREVER or move to one of those cool family beds where everyone is close but you know, not trying to fit 4 people in a bed

My 2 year old plays to much at bedtime and is rowdy (before bed? Totally fine. Lights off? Freaking mosh pit) and so it's more of a "I only like this when you're asleep" type feeling that's pushing it into the "get outta my bed you beast" attitude I have. She actually slammed her face into my husbands forehead last night- he had tooth marks and she bloodied her nose. That's an extreme example but she jumps around and tries to stay awake-- and her head is like a wrecking ball!

She usually calms down once she's injured or gotten hurt feelings from being shouted at because she's narrowly missed my nose... But that half hour? Hell.

I miss teeny baby snuggles...

@pinkcupcake: @snowjewelz: No protests from #1 and no wake ups either. She generally sleeps through his feedings. We also use a dohm noise machine so that probably helps.

DS is 2.5 and currently sleeps with us in the middle/between me and DH. He rolls too much to sleep on the edge (aka we've had quite a few falls despite "blocking" him in).

DD is due to arrive in about 2/2.5 months so will be in a PnP or Halo Bassinet the first month or two. We're hoping she takes to her own bed/crib early on and stays there.

DS couldn't be sleep trained and was sick every month his first year so that's how we ended up co-sleeping. There's not way he'll sleep in his own bed now. We've tried numerous times, even bringing in a bed for him into our room, but he'll just shake his head, run to our bed, climb up, get comfy then tell us to "lie down" so we can all go to sleep.
