Ours actually combine to make "normal" names. We end up with Darrin or Erik by combining Derek and Erin.
Funny story: We spent a good deal of time discussing the pronunciation of our last name with our pastor who married us (my childhood pastor) since there's a tricky silent letter. During the ceremony when he introduced us he got the last name right but flubbed the first names. It was a very conservative, very Baptist wedding and he introduced us as Darrin and Erik. The pastor was so embarrassed but we thought it was funny.

@eeh: This is funny. DH and I both have gender neutral names, the priest kept calling me DHs name and DH my name.
