Nope.
I can't give up my privacy. And I like being an average Joe (jane?). While I don't shy away from attention, I couldn't handle the craziness that is show business. No amount of $$/luxury could buy that for me.
I wouldn't mind all the other perks about it, but alas you can't have your cake and eat it too!

Sure. I'd be like Denzel Washington. Really good at what I do and only come out to promote my projects and lend my voice to worthy causes (for him Boys & Girls Club). He is just one of mnay A-list celebrity examples that stay out of the press unless its work related.

Hellllllllllllllllllllllll no. I would never want to be famous. I think ideally I would like to be known by name in an industry perhaps. But not famous like a celebrity who people know by sight.

I wouldn't mind it, I would protect my privacy. Kerry washington managed to get married without people knowing she was even seeing anyone so it can be done!

I was just thinking about this. And nope. Sometimes I think it would be nice but I would hate being in the spotlight all the time. Can't I just go grocery shopping in peace?

Ooh, yeah - I could handle it. I get stared at when I go shopping anyway - admittedly that's because I stink of baby vom and I have forgotten to change out of my PJ bottoms but, hey!

Sure! I don't love lots of attention, and I do love lots of quiet time and my privacy but there are plenty of stars (even A-listers and award winners) you never really hear anything about because they don't act a fool when they go out. They MTOB and are sane, and in turn, they are mostly left alone by the paparazzi! I'd love all the perks!

Not an A-lister. I once saw Michael Cera hanging out with friends in the park, and in the 20 minutes we were there, 3 separate people went up to talk, take pics, etc. It would be exhausting to have to always be "on," and if you don't feel like being polite to strangers in that moment you look like a jerk.
I would be a C-lister, like a designer on Trading Spaces or choreographer from So You Think You Can Dance or character actor.

No. I used to think it would be cool because of all the associated perks. But then we had 2 celebrities living in our buildung this past sunmer and I realized how annoying it must be to know that people are watching you all the time. Walking through the lobby, in the elevator, eating out while people try to talk to you or take pictures of you on their phones...yuck.

Sure I would. I feel like that lifestyle comes with amazing opportunities and trips, experiences, etc most people could only dream of. Not to mention never having to worry about $$. The lack if privacy comes with the territory.

Yes, actually. What @Mrs. Pen and @CottonCandy said exactly. I could deal, I think, if it meant financial security and travel, etc. I'd live overseas while not working, some small town in like, Morocco or something. Ha!
I'd be like Angelina Jolie, and do charity work and stay out of the drama spotlight as much as possible. I think I'd be a good celebrity. Lol

Yes absolutely! I wouldn't want to be as famous and stalked as Madonna but I'd love to be a business celeb or maybe a B-list actress. I think those people can absolutely live lives that are still private if they choose to be.
