Haha I love the otter too! And the deer!

In a fantasy world I'd love to blog but I think I'd have problems not rambling, and I don't think I have anything to contribute that isn't already bring covered by the current bloggers.

I'd love to be a HB blogger buuuuuuuuuuuut I don't even have a personal blog. lol. Out of the current characters I think I'd be Mrs. Bear, out of all that there have been I would totally be Mrs. Superhero b/c we are a comic fan kind of family! tehe

ETA: My spin would be school aged child family life, blended families, and I don't think I could blog & not talk about natural/homebirth. tehe

I like the lion!

I have no idea what I'd write about, other than being totally naïve about all things parenting. I could write about bed-wetting, maybe, but that doesn't make for a very glamorous post!

@mrsjazz: @runsyellowlites: haha I don't have a personal blog. I actually created one solely to apply to be a blogger. But now that I'm here, I never update it. It seems futile without the readership.

@Mrs. Pen: LOL! I've wanted to start a blog forever but get stuck on what I'd call it so it has never happened. I'd need a cool blog name! lol

@runsyellowlites: That is not a good enough reason to not start a blog. Judging by your posts, I would love your blog!

@NaturallyCathy: I would love to blog for HB but I feel bad I haven't even kept up my own blog since K was born! I feel like I have so much to catch up on just recording her life. But I love the community of bloggers on HB and would feel honored to be among them.
My "spin" though couldn't possibly be as educational or serious as some of the great bloggers here! I'd probably choose the Chipmunk because I'm a shopaholic that stockpiles things for "when they'll be needed or useful" vs. buying when I need something. Kind of chipmunk-like? I love the Llama though! Fell in love with llamas on our trip to Peru.

@Navy_Mommy, @Regberadaisy; I think being opinionated and way left-of-center is probably my "spin" unfortunately. Maybe you could join up and make me look good And I have no personal blog. Don't sweat it.

I love the tiger! I'm going to be so jealous of whoever picks that up. I also love the paintbrush, but I'm not very artistic so it'd make no sense for me to pick that one!

@NaturallyCathy: all those things sound interesting to me! I would love to read about those topics! I don't have a spin either - I just write about what works/didn't work for me and things I wish I knew when i became a first time mom.

The majority of us here struggle with the little, daily, "typical" things so even though the unique stuff is fascinating, and I learn a lot from those too... I think just hearing how others handle the day to day, "ordinary" stuff is beneficial too.

With that said, I hope you apply!

P.S. I also use bumpers, let the kids sleep with blankets, and let them sleep on their bellies.

@Mrs. Jacks; You vary. I'd say most often you read as progressive. If I went by how you "read" I would picture you as pretty middle of the road with slight progressive leanings. And oh, this is so wrong, but if you were here right now I'd sing you a super-sappy version of True Colors: "I see your truuuue colors shining through. Truuuuue colors, and that's why I love you..."
So do I read *dum dum DUM* normal?

@Mrs. Twine: LOL. I'm cracking up. No, you don't read "normal". You remind me of one of my friends who is so emotionally intelligent and in tune. You seem to know exactly how to express the heart of the matter. It's quite a talent that I wish I had!
