If I could change one thing, it would be that DH and I finished school by now. We both are working full time, and trying to go to school still. It's not as high on the priority list as it should be, but we are still trying!
I wish we would have just stayed in school full time until we graduated. This is taking so much longer than we both want, and we are both at our wits end!
What's one thing you would change, if you could?

I don't like our condo. Love the location of the condo, just not the condo living. We are looking for a house, just no luck so far. I want more space, backyard and be able to park in my garage and carry in groceries much easier!

To have no school loans, or the money to pay them all off right now. Ideally I'd like no debt, but my loans eat up a big chunk of my income right now, and if they were gone, we would be able to pay off our mortgage and cars in just a few years, or be able to maintain on one income so one of us could stay home with our son.
If I was to be a bit greedy, I'd say to win the Lottery. Both DH's and my family have had such struggles over the last few years, and it would be amazing to just get a break from it all by paying off our bills and getting ahead for a bit, and being able to help out our families.

I would be debt free! We would have a lot less headaches if we didn't have any student loans, car loans, CC bills, ect!

I would like for both DH and I to be able to teleport to work. We have awful commutes and it definitely affects quality of life.

@rawrasaur: I know this sounds horrible but I wish we loved farther away from family! We live walking distance from our parents and siblings.
I would wish we had more money so I could stay home with baby. Or that our mortgage wasn't so expensive. If we bought our house now, and not 7 years ago when the market was booming, our mortgage would probably cost half of what it does now. Then I could stay home.

Saved more money when I was working b/c then I would be able to put away even more money for our kids than we are now. Hopefully one day when I do go back to work I can start contributing more but that won't be for a few more years. It's amazing how much your priorities shift when you have kids. I remember having such extravagant meals and spent freely since it was just me or me and my husband.

I'm with all the PP who said no debt! Oh to be rid of my student-loan debt, how wonderful this would be. Unless I win the lottery or get a kick-ass paying job, I will be paying them off until LO goes to college!

I would love to live closer to my family as well. They are all clustered in the same area, which I know isn't the best area for me and H to live in, but I sure wish we were closer and I could see them more without it being such a hassle. I really like where we live, it's just hard to accept that I will probably always be 4-5 hours away from everyone.

I'd move closer to my family. It's hard being so far away, but I'm glad that DH gets to spend a lot of time with his Dad and given his age (86) he might not be with us much longer.

The first thing that popped into my head was how I wish we could be debt free. But then I took a moment to think and the one thing I wish I could change, I wish my dad was here to watch all his grandchildren grow up. He passed away 5.5 years ago from pulmonary fibrosis.

@mrsbrewer: Yup, and I'm just a teacher. Uck. I borrowed about 80K for college from banks and private lenders with variable interest rates and with interest I'm now at about 150K.
