We're probably one and done (well, DH has kids from a previous marriage), but if I could guarantee our second would be another girl then I'd be really tempted to have another! I'm sure I'd love having a son, but we've got soooo much girl stuff and I'm a girly girl so having a little girl just comes really naturally to me

I think we are probably 2 and through regardless. LO #1 is a girl and I waffle all the time wondering if I'd rather a girl or boy for #2. On one hand it would be nice to have "one of each." But on the other hand it seems like they might be better friends if they were both girls.

@lawbee11: We always said we wanted two girls. But now that I have at least one I really don't care what the next is. It would be easier for another girl, share clothes and can play with a lot of the same stuff. But I kind of want a boy too! Even though I don't know what I would do with a boy.

2 is our max either way. DH would really really like the second to be a boy, but he wouldn't have a third if the second is another girl. I love that I already have my girl (I truly had no idea how much I wanted a girl until I had her!).
@Mae: I'm the same way! My sisters are my best friends and I would love C to have that! But, it would be great to have one of each and experience both, plus of course DH wants a son. So... I'm so glad I don't get to choose!

I think our max is now two regardless if we could guarantee! But if our first was a boy, I probably would have had a 3rd if we could guarantee a girl. I reaaaaaally wanted a girl! Now that we have one I am equally happy to have a boy or a girl next!

@Foodnerd81: I feel exactly the same way. I was really fine either way with this first one… but now that I know I'm having a girl I can admit to myself that if my LO had been a boy I'd have really been rooting for a girl for #2. It is a very good thing we don't get to decide

If we were having a girl for #2 then I probably would've wanted one more. I mean we'd have all the stuff and know what we were doing regardless of the sex so why not one more? DH and i both have 2 siblings so it's what feels "normal". Since we're going to have 2 boys I think we might just be done after this one. I don't really want 3 boys and am unsure if I'd want to deal with getting all girl stuff later on. I don't know, 2 boys just seems perfect to me at this point.

If I could guarantee a boy for our next one we would be done for sure. We have a girl now and would love one of each. But I'm pretty sure we're two and through either way. I'm tired. And I don't like being pregnant.

Since we had a girl first I would want one more girl and then two boys to finish out our family. I love being pregnant but labor scares me so we might only have one more. (Hopefully soon!)

Just one more, we are going for 3 regardless of gender- boy or girl doesn't matter to me! I'd be thrilled having all 3 boys, but a girl would be just as awesome

We'd still be undecided. Being able to handle another baby is our primary concern. Another girl or a boy - it really doesn't matter. But I'd prefer a girl

If I could be guaranteed a girl after this one, I'd consider one more in a couple years. DH is already telling me not to totally give up and that I've just been pregnant too much. He thinks I'll change my mind in a couple years lol

I'm two and through. While I would love a girl, I think I prefer to have another boy if we have a surprise baby in our future. Yes, I'm crazy and never thought I would want a house full of boys.
