I wouldn't hide any, because I have to stay on the lookout for spam and what not. But if I wasn't admining the site, maybe I'd hide posts from the Style forum. Plus I'm not due so maybe some of the due date forums too?
If you could hide posts from certain forums here on Hellobee, which forums would you hide?

I would hide the breastfeeding forum and probably any non-pertinent date forums.

I think I would do due dates but for personal reasons. After suffering a mc it is really difficult seeing my would be due date month pop up. I have such a hard time not looking. But when I look and I see how far I should be, or how big I'd be, or if I'd be decorating the nursery it stings.

I even pop into the due date boards out of curiosity from time to time, so I think I'd probably block charting...to be honest, I know nothing about it anyway!
ETA - actually, I wouldn't block it. so many people post threads not about charting into charting for some reason, so I might miss a lot!

I wouldn't hide anything because there isn't an overwhelming amount of content coming from any forum that is to the point that I wouldn't want to see it. Even if it isn't personally relevant, on a slow day around here I will read almost any post topic.

@sorrycharlie: charting is the default category when you start a new thread so if people don't think to actively change it their post goes to charting. That's why there are so many : )
I also wouldn't hide anything because there's not yet enough content for me to feel overwhelmed by it.

I think there are only certain days that I would want to hide some forums. Like, @alison206: It's hard to see due date posts, general pregnancy posts, etc. However, it usually just passes and then I'm checking everything out.

Food, even though I post there...I end up craving unhealthy food and if I cave, that doesn't help me baby lose weight. I avoid the food network for the same reason.

If you do hide posts, would it be possible to create an option to get notifications for every post in a thread you're subscribed to? I usually stop getting notifications and seeing that thread pop up again is often the only way I know anyone is still replying.

I wouldn't hide anything. I don't think there is an overwhelming amount of activity in any one forum. If it doesn't interest me, I just don't click in and then it'll usually get pushed back onto other pages soon enough.

hm... I would say most of the TTC boards, such as charting. But like some pps have said, the site is still small enough where there isn't an overwhelming amount of posts in one particular topic.
Oooh and the potty board... I hate potty talk - lol remember?!

I try to check it once a day so I can move any miscategorized threads into the proper forum!

I skip over all the due date twins boards but my own, so I guess it would be fine if those were hidden from the main boards page. I usually skip any feeding or sleep posts just because I'm still pregnant and some of the situations are so ultra specific that they're not instructive and I can't contribute.
