Does your post list suddenly become visible?
Just curious.

@googly-eyes: I think MrBee said your gold posts would still remain gold/ private.. But he was looking into maybe seeing if you could still have access to the threads you created.
I don't know. Don't quote me. Maybe he'll pop in and comment on this thread.

@googly-eyes: Are you referring to the feature described here?
If so, then yah - your list of posts on your profile will be visible (if it wasn't before) after Gold expires. Hope that answers your question!

@Arden: yeah I can see yours! Guess there's my answer!
@mrbee: yeah I was. Thanks!

@googly-eyes: Well darn. Hopefully no stalkers visit me while I'm saving up for gold.

@Arden: yeah that sucks...I was hoping that wouldn't be the case. I wasn't going to renew, but I guess now I have to spend $25 just to keep my previous posts private. Not cool!

@CottonCandy: Just to be clear, if you posted something in a Gold thread... those threads will still stay private. We're talking here about the list of posts in your profile...
admin / wonderful grape / 20724 posts
@CottonCandy: I never thought that someone would upgrade to Gold just to hide their profile list... we just threw it in as part of Gold because it was related to privacy, which has been kind of a theme for the Gold feature.

@mrbee: hiding my post list is my favorite gold feature and one of the main reasons that I want to renew.
pomegranate / 3331 posts
@mrbee: I think you might be underestimating how important that feature is! it is one of my primary motives right now for wanting to renew

I wasn't planning on renewing my gold, and just happened to look at my profile/list of posts and noticed my list isn't private anymore. I assumed this was just a general privacy feature, not just a gold feature, but I guess I was wrong....I think it's crazy to pay $25 just to keep your post list private.
@mrbee: so theoretically you would need to pay $25 per year for life if you simply want your posts lists to remain private? I think that if you bought gold once, you should have this feature for life. It's a privacy issue.

@NovBaby1112: I think your gold posts started are still listed under the gold listing which can only be viewed by gold members.
persimmon / 1481 posts
@NovBaby1112: Agreed, that sucks, but I guess you could just delete your account if you want to hide later on right? That's probably what I would do if I was worried about someone seeing my posts.

@NovBaby1112: You wouldn't have to pay for gold forever to keep your list of posts private... as @MrsHansen82: mentioned, we built a feature which hides your list of posts after an account shutdown:
http://boards.hellobee.com/topic/increased-privacy-for-shutdown-accounts
We made that feature available to all, including non Gold accounts!

@MrsHansen82: @mrbee: that's true...forgot about that feature. I'm not ready to delete my account yet though, but def don't want someone finding me and reading through all my posts. Urg

@NovBaby1112: I feel the same way. My Gold expired and I am not going to renew right now and the one feature I miss the most is hidden posts! But I don't think the Gold posts I've posted in or started are in that list.
