@Mrs. J: Eek! You know what though, in some ways younger might actually be easier (at least to start)!! My nearly 3.5 year old is the one who is the trickiest - just super whiny and emotional right now. The young toddler (19 months) is reckless and into everything, but that behavior doesn't wear on me quite as much.
@2littlepumpkins: I know it is true! I just can't even imagine!!!

We are planning to wait a couple of months but would be happy now too
nectarine / 2148 posts
@oliviaoblivia: This is exactly how I feel right now.
Currently, AF is about 5 days late, but I've been under a lot of stress. I'm too afraid to test to make sure because I would probably freak out. (LO is only 6 months).

@KT326: I feel the same way.
I'd be over the moon excited, and completely terrified after 2 losses.
God, I wish this was my reality.

I would have some seriously mixed feelings. We are on the fence about having a third, and even if we decided to we aren't ready yet.

Since I have a three week old I would flip the F out. And then wonder how the sperm got in me.

happy! This is our first cycle TTC #2 and I don't want to wait 4 more days to find out. Lol

This was me 3 weeks ago... and I freaked out. DH had taken permanent measures that we thought had worked. Oops! Guess not! We were 100% done, so this came as quite a shock. We are settling in to the idea now, but 3 kids 4 and under are definitely going to keep us busy. We are in the middle of deciding whether we should move to a bigger home or try to add on to our existing home. Eek, craziness!!

I'd be shocked that my Mirena failed and scared about finances but ecstatic because I really want another child and having a surprise would take out the should we/shouldn't we back and forth we face daily!
cantaloupe / 6059 posts
I'd be happy for that confirmation again since I'm already (early) pregnant!

Like @coopsmama: I'd also be so happy for some additional confirmation of my VERY early pregnancy too!

i'd be confused and shocked (as DH has been snipped) but we'd ultimately be happy!
@dcw6411: this is our fear! we had a "scare" a month or so ago when i was a couple days late. (dont have to answer if its personal but.. ) did your DH get his counts checked (i'm assuming he had a vasectomy?) DH got his checked a couple months after the procedure and it came back negative for sperm. maybe we need to keep getting it checked periodically to be safe??

@kodybear: I've heard you need to wait 4 months. Is that true? I really don't want to get pregnant again...
pear / 1616 posts
@BandDmommy: i think it was 12 weeks at the earliest that the dr would allow dh to get his sperm count checked. so somewhere between 3-4 months i'd say.

It would be an immaculate conception so we would be shocked.

I'd cry. DD is only a month old and DS is still having a lot of trouble adjusting. DH would be pissed. He is sure we're two and through.

Well I'm 37 weeks pregnant now, but if I found out I was pregnant sometime after this one, I'd be devastated. We are definitely done and don't want any more.

Well, given that dd 2 is exactly one week and one day old today, I'd have a heart attack!!

Excited and nervous. After a loss in October we both want try this month but are nervous about it not sticking again.

@kodybear: Yes, he had a vasectomy, 6 months before I got pregnant. He had his numbers tested and they came back at 1 non viable swimmer left. The doctor told him that everything was successful. 2 months later.... I am preggo. He is going back in January for a second test which will put him at almost a year out from his procedure. His doctor said this is the first person he has had this happen to in his entire career, so I am assuming that it is very very rare. It is a little crazy as it took us several months to get pregnant with both of our other children. Craziness!
@BandDmommy: My husband was also told to wait at least 4 months before his first test.

I'd be a little freaked out but mostly excited. I would also be worried because I am on my period so I would wonder what's going on there.
blogger / wonderful cherry / 21616 posts
I think I would be excited. We still go back and forth on having another one, but if I did get pg, I would be happy.

Panic, but be happy. Call the realtor and get a bigger place, start car shopping for something that can hold 2 car seats, then cry that my sweet 4 month old won't get the chance to enjoy me as my only child much longer.

I'd be confused (not biologically possible just now), sad (my baby is only two weeks old!), and then excited (we are likely one-and-done, but I love pregnancy and the newborn stage so much that I might welcome a surprise - just NOT YET!).
persimmon / 1281 posts
Stressed. We have an almost 5 month old and are 99% sure we're done. Also- shocked because we've been quite, uh hum, non active in that department since LO was born (DH is terrified of getting me pregnant again...we had a rough newborn stage)

@Ra: This. So much this.
I'd lose my shit, and not in a good way.
grapefruit / 4988 posts
I would be so so happy. We are trying for #2 and we already had a loss in Oct so I am really hoping it happens soon.
