Did you use the same coming home outfit? I was thinking of having both girls come home in the same outfit, but not sure now.

I only have one, but I would use different outfits. I feel like #2 will have a lot of hand me downs through the years, and it would be nice to start them out with something nice and new.

We did the same but it was gender neutral because we were team green both times!

That is cute! I used different ones, but it didn't really matter. I didn't take any pics!

No we won't because A wore a cotton sundress and it's going to be really cold out this time around.

This ended up being a non-issue for us since W came early, but I had planned for them to wear different outfits anyway. I want to make shadow boxes if I ever find the time, so they needed their own outfits. I do think it's a sweet idea if you don't have plans for the outfit.

No #2 yet, but I will probably do different outfits if #2 is a girl. 1) most likely be different season & 2) she will have so many of LOs clothes, it would be nice to have her own special coming home outfit!

No way was DS2 was fitting into DS1's coming-home outfit (which I did bring, incidentally). I only brought a couple of NB things since I figured 0-3 would be too big. Yeah, my almost-10-pounder wore his hospital duds home.

Different outfits!
it's funny though, now that my girls are older and I see baby pics of them when DD2 wore DD1's hand me downs, I have to really think about which baby it is! They looked very similar as newborns.

I only have one, but my sister and I had separate outfits. Mine was yellow and hers was white, both crocheted by my mom, and I think it's such a nice keep sake for each of us. I had mine and my own LO wore it when she was a newborn too, although I suppose we still could have done this if we'd shared an outfit.

Yes, they wore the same outfit home, I thought it was cute and a fun thing to do!

I love that idea!!! I will if both are the same sex and the seasons line up with when I get pregnant and have a due date.

We're team green for both and I was a little torn on this! On one hand, it is super sweet to have them sharing the same outfit, but on the other (like @kiddosc: said), LO #2 will have so many hand-me-downs that it would be nice for each baby to have his/her own coming home outfit. And if the seasons don't line up, etc.
We got a ducky outfit for #1 and I just bought a crab outfit for #2.

Super cute idea! I never thought about it but I would definitely do it!

No, because it was almost 80 degrees when W was born and she was super tiny, and it was really cold and rainy when M was born, and she was huge!!!

I think it is a cute idea but C was born in September and it was chilly (thermal two piece) and G will be born late June/early July, so I think he will get something different!

I was planning to, but then didn't have my hospital bag packed and DH ran home to get an outfit and just got something random.

We'll use different outfits only because the outfit I bought for DD for coming home was way too big so I had to use a random newborn outfit that someone gave us.

@kiddosc: this! DD2 will have her own coming home outfit. I have a box for DD1 with her outfit, hospital hat & blanket. I would like for DD2 to have the same things in her box.

I think we'll do different ones, but I'm packing both and still kind of undecided. It will depend on the weather and what fits him, since we brought C home in fleece jammies, and we have a lighter outfit for #2.

We did different outfits in the same theme. Luckily, they were so close together, that Carter's was still making the same line!

I'm planning to get my second daughter her own outfit, with the thought that coming home outfits are something I'll keep for each of the girls to have someday. I'll still probably let DD#2 wear DD#1's coming home outfit at some point though, because it was really cute.

I was going to because it was my coming home outfit when I was a baby (I have boys but it was a white gown with green bears) but DS2 spit up all over it right before we left so we had to change him.

Myself, my brothers and C all came home in the same sweater/hat/booties. We just wore different things underneath.
