Will you pull from that list for future LOs?
We were team green, had one girl name, and two potential boy names but didn't totally love either boy name. After our daughter was born, we both pretty much decided those boy names were out.
Now #2 is on the way and it's back to the name drawing board! This time we will find out the sex so at least we only have to come up with one.
I know other people who were TG and kept the opposite sex name for the next one.

We were TG with our first and had a boy, we decided to find out this time and it's a girl. Our name options for girls for our first pregnancy are on the table again this time!

We were TG with DD and we will reuse our boy name if this one is a boy. We are TG again so we had to come up with a second girls name. It wasn't one that was in the contention at all with DD, but I love it!

I don't think so. We were Team Green and had one girl name and one boy name. After we had our daughter, DH said he was kind of relieved we had a girl because he had started to not like the boy name much anymore. I had never loved it but it was one of the only names we were both even okay with. So I think if we decide to have another kid, we'll be starting from scratch on names again, which is almost enough to make me want to be one and done!

We have some names from LO1 on our list but DH says they all seem stale now. Too early (ha- 35 weeks) to tell if we will end up using one or not.

Well, we had a whole two names on our list for LO #1 (two girl names, we knew she was a girl) and we used one of them. We are now pregnant with #2 (also a girl) but the second unused name I'm now "eh" about.....so back to the drawing board!

Our girl name for B was Camden "Cami" Rose. If we were to have another it would not be an option. Our good friends have a boy named Camden.

Both LOs are boys, but our "back-up" name wasn't in the running this time. Some others may be the same, but we'd just kind of moved past the one.

We are still considering some "leftover" names, but also still looking. We only have about 2, maybe 3 weeks left, so hopefully we figure it out!

We came up with a new list for dd2 and when i compared it with the list for dd1, it was almost exactly the same. Maybe one or two differences.

@PurplePeony: this is us too. We were both a little relieved in that we loved our girl name but we're meh on the boys. If we had loved it I think we would still be considering it.

We retired most of our girl names. I either don't love them anymore or they won't work (like Evelyn...too close to Evan!)
We didn't really have other boy names. Evans is a family name, and was going to be used somehow, it just ended up being what we could agree on. I think we've almost settled on a boy name this time...girl names will be harder to pare down!

Yes. But our big list is 20. Since my name and Ts name end with n, we won't use another name ending in n, so that takes a few off.

Yes. This LO's name will be one we considered for R's first name but decided we didn't like with her middle name. I'm glad we made that call, since I'm already a little sad that a name I loved so much didn't get used for a child that will get to actually use it, so I would be even more sad I we'd used both my favorite names.

We agreed on a boys name that we loved before finding out LO is a girl. It is 100% on the table for future LOs.

We had a boy and girl name mostly but not entirely picked out before finding out gender with DD. We're taking our previously established boy choice for DS due later this year.

@Foodnerd81: we had a 100% boy name for baby 1, and this time around it wasn't really even a consideration! We might use it as a second middle name.

We did. We had one boy and one girl name picked way before getting pregnant. Used the boy name for our first and the girl for our second. Now with the third we are really struggling with names.

Nope. None of the names we had left over from baby 1 have made the list for this one at this point.

We have a couple we'd consider for boys but we came up with our name for DD very quickly so we don't really have too many backups. Plus our other main choices for girl names don't really fit with LO's name (they were more trendy and hers is classic/old-timey).

Yay I'm so glad you are finding out! (I can't wait that long 
). We didn't discuss names until we knew the sex, so we only discussed girl names, and there was only 1 other we liked. I think it would be on the table next time because it actually goes nicely with LO's name.

@Foodnerd81: @PurplePeony: Us too! Our first ended up being a girl, and when she was born DH turned to me and said "I really hated the boy name!" I was shocked! Needless to say, we never used that name 
Our girl name from the last pregnancy will be what we use if this one is a girl! If this one is a boy, we are doomed.

Depends. If we have a girl next, she will be named our "girl" name. Another boy? It was hard enough coming up with the one currently baking.

We will reuse the list we had for LO1, but I already know that the second runner up for LO1 is out for me.

we were also team green with #1. None of the names we were considering for a boy are on our list this time (we had a girl last time). There are some girl names on our list that we considered, but the forerunner is new.
