I haven't had a repeat yet....BUT, I don't plan on checks. This way when people question be regarding my cervix I can say I have no idea. And I don't see the point.

hhhmmm you would think so just to know if things were progressing and the need for possibling needing the c-section earlier.

I don't think I did... But i only made it to 37 weeks with my second, and I remember the midwife saying "well if anything changes let us know" (so maybe she said that after a check?) and I laughed out loud (DD was 40weeks 6days and VERY comfortable) because I knew that I don't have babies early... Well I was wrong.

I asked my OB about this yesterday and he doesn't plan on doing any unless I start having strong contractions.
