I think I just voted wrong-- sorry! I think had a mirena with no problems but I voted I had problems.

No problems with my Mirena, except that it didn't do anything to decrease the frequency of my periods. Still got it every 2 weeks.

I loved the mirena but I did have a few problems - had several UTI's while having it (never had one before then and haven't had one since) and my body ended up rejecting it. Other then that I liked it!

I have a Mirena, and mostly no problems? I had a month or two, 6 months after the initial spotting stopped when it started up again, no explanation. And there was...stuff? By the time I got an U/S everything was clear and fine, and the spotting stopped not long after that. The CNP I had seen thought that maybe I had gotten pregnant on it, and lost it, but there's no proof.
That was last summer, and no problems since. No spotting, no pain, no period, nada.

I didn't vote. Paraguard. Still on the fence. Ask again in 6 months.

I voted paraguard with no problems, although my first one expelled itself. This can happen, but is super rare and more likely if you have not had a child (this was pre LO). I got another after having DD.

I have the Skyla iud and so far so good, I think. It's been a week since insertion and I have had some cramping, some pinching but I think all within the realm of normal? I go back for the standard post insertion appt in a week so I'll get confirmation then if it's where it should be.

I had the paraguard with no problems, but I will say I had to live on advil when I had my period, it hurt so much more with the paraguard.

i had a mirena that i partially expelled (the bottom of the T was out my cervix, but the top was still up there), she said it was probably because i hadn't had children yet.
