Which one would you buy? I would probably want a pizza place like Domino's because it seems like low overhead....you don't need a huge location, there is no dine in, etc.
A fast food place at a major airport would be awesome ...the food mark ups are crazy but harried travelers don't seem to mind!

DH wants to do a Firehouse....I wanted to do Chic Fil A until I found out from someone who researched it that in order to get one, you have to work as the store manager in one for a certain amount of time. That did not sound fun to me!
FWIW, I have never seen a Subway that was not making money hand over fist. Subway seems to be everywhere, yet they are always busy!

DUNKIN' DONUTS!!!! There are about three in the whole Houston area (crazy right?!!?!)
Or a Tim Horton's, that would be awesome @Beebug, where I grew up, Buffalo NY Tim Horton's were busier than Dunkin' Donuts. And DH is obsessed with the Bacon BELT

My DH really wants to open a yoshinoya but I keep telling him it's a lot harder than he thinks and I dont think ppl in our area are diverse enough to appreciate it.

@t-mom I have been to the one on 1960 in Spring maybe, and the one in Pasadena. Neither ever compare to the ones I use to go to in NY..... but I did hear that they were opening 16 more stores.... Of course that was a long time ago, so maybe the news was lying

Dunkin' Donuts or McDonalds. I read somewhere a long time ago that the average McDonalds makes more than 1M a year, and it seems like they would have fairly low overhead. But I think you have to go to hamburger University, which I'm definitely not interested in doing!

Chipotle for sure! We don't have one & I rarely make trips out of town so I miss it.... literally "salivating just thinking about it" miss it!

Although I don't agree with their politics, chik fila constantly has a line around the parking lot no matter what time I go! I think it's at least 1 million for a franchise though!
