Would they have similar names that start with the same letter? Like James and Julie.
I need to think about this a little more to think of some cute twin names.

The social security administration puts out lists of the top twin sets of names. Surprisingly there were quite a few that weren't that similar.

If we had girl twins the names were going to be
Emily and Alivia for their nicknames Emi and Ali. I love it.
For boys we had Logan and Kevin so no similarity
I am a twin and we have names that start with the same letter April & Amber. I'm not sure I like that.

We always joke that we'd name them after both of his grandmas - Loretta & Lucille, and then they could have a future in country music...

I used to think that if I had twin girls, I'd name one Emily and the other Emma Lee. It's probably a good thing that we're not having twins.

Funny, I used to want twins, but never thought about twin names. We only ever had a boy name we both liked so good thing we only had one.

I can't believe number six for girl twins is:
6 Heaven, Nevaeh 29
29 is the number of sets of twins

@MaisyMay: LOL! I am a twin (Emily & Amanda) and would kinda like twins but I have never thought about names for a set. I would probably just use the two names we like best and I definitely would not go too match-y, match-y.

@Thehistoryofus: Two of my fav girl names are paired on the list, Elizabeth & K/Catherine. We have a long last name so they would be known as Ellie & Cate, pretty good together!

I kindof want twins, it runs in my family so we might get them haha!
Two girls: Clara & Lucy
Girl/Boy: Clara & Jack
Two Boys: Jack & Evan
I don't like when twins have matching names (Ryan and Riley, Nicholas & Nichole), not my thang. Maybe if DH and I were both the same letter, and had the same initial for our last name we could have a little Kardashian thing going on.

If I had a boy and girl set, I would name them Ruby and Rory. If I had two girls, they would probably be Eloise and Vivienne. If I had two boys, they would be Rory and Luca.

I don't know about twins, but my BFF swears she'll name her kids Lucy, Maude and Montgomery if she has triplets. It's her homage to Anne of Green Gables.

When I was younger I liked the idea of names that match, BUT lately two of my friends who had twins have had major issues with taxes because for some reason the IRS thinks they are using the same kid twice when they file their taxes because the full names are so similar ( Patrick & patricia) both first and middle names and its been a headache for both of my friends so I would mix it up a bit.

Just off the top of my head because I've never thought about twin names...

I kept having dreams that I had twins before we had our first ultrasound, largely in part to the fact my cousin was pregnant with twins I think! So we thought of names:
Girls: Emerson & Everly (Emme & Evie)
Boys: Nolan & Easton
Girl & Boy: Emerson & Nolan
For some reason girl names we want to use the same letter, but that's it, I think it's just because the two names I happen to really like both begin with E.

Fun thread! I would love twins! DH, not so much

Boy/Boy: Lachlan & Cole

@Mrs. Tricycle: Too funny!! I actually love all 3 of those names, lol.... my province is right next to PEI though, so I think they'd be teased incessantly
