@Shutterbug: @pui: check again! I just looked and Kit Kats are proceed in a facility with peanuts! Just wanted to make sure you knew!

We always hand out a variety - this year we had Hershey bars, 3 Musketeers, Milky Ways, Caramels, and Twizzlers.

I don't like nut candy, and DH doesn't really like candy, so I make sure to get the stuff I like

DD has a peanut allergy so we definitely don't do nut candy around here. I NEVER thought about it before having DD though, so I can understand why this would not even be on people's radars when shopping for candy.

I am always soo nervous when we go ToT, and we check her basket immediately after each house we go to. If we take candy away she doesn't mind because we've been saying, "This one has peanuts - you can't eat peanuts. It's very very dangerous for you!" and she actually gets it.

@T.H.O.U.: At least in Canada, those little mini chocolate bars (with Aero, Coffee Crisp, Kit Kat and Mars Bars) come from a nut free facility... at least it's advertised that way on the package.

@pui: I heard of mommies of PA kids ordering Halloween candy from Canada because it was safe . Another reason to love Canada, it seems
