Do you get a lot of questions about adding another child to your family or do most people assume you are done?

So far most are assuming we are done. But we were pretty clear this was probably it.

My oldest is a girl and my middle is a boy, so when I got pregnant again people were very surprised. I think people assumed that we were done because we had one of each. Now that I have a girl and two boys I get a lot of "wow, you sure have your hands full."

I've already gotten a lot of "oh good! One of each! Now you can be done!"

I would love one more but we are done after this unless my husband has a huge change of heart. We would have been done regardless of the sex but to be honest I come from a group of New Yorkers who don't have more than one so my having two was crazy to them. No one has really weighed in on us being done or not to be honest.

Nope. But honestly people assume we swing the other way because I got pregnant a month after getting married and then ended up having 2 babies (singleton pregnancies) before our two year anniversary. So most people assume we're trying to be the Duggars and the questions have already started about if I'm pregnant with our next. I think people would be shocked to hear if we were done even though we have both genders.

We always get asked! I think people are just curious so I don't mind.

I have two girls, so everyone wanted to know when we're having our boy... Sigh...

Oh, yeah! Everyone assumes we're done, since we have the 'perfect' family. We are more than likely done, and to be honest if #2 was another boy we would have 100% been trying for a girl(sounds horrible I know) and had a third. It annoys me for some reason when people assume this, and that we have the perfect family. What if our idea of a 'perfect family' was all boys, or all girls? I don't know, it just annoys me for some reason haha

@Mrs. Jacks: we have two girls and get the same comments. I guess our family can't be complete without another y chromosome.

@autumnlove: Even if you have 3 girls, it's going to be totally awesome! One of my girl friends just had her third girl and after a touch of initial gender disappointment, she's in such love with her beautiful little one. It'll be great...
But, if we are in parallel (as we have been so far!) maybe this one will be a boy for you
@oliviaoblivia: Annoying right. I almost want this to be a girl just to piss everyone off

@Mrs. Jacks: @autumnlove: @oliviaoblivia: I love how people ask "when" you are having your boy... as if you have any control over it!
We have a girl and a boy, and everyone assumes we are done (which we are!). Our baby-fever friends are the only ones who are bummed we're done, because they want more babies to snuggle.

We just found out two weeks ago that LO2 will be a boy (to add to DD). Everyone has given us some version of "Oh, so you're done now" or "Nice, you can stop at 2." I think it's kind of strange because everyone we know stops at two regardless.

@autumnlove: @Mrs. Jacks: @oliviaoblivia: same, with two boys we keep getting asked when we'll try for a girl- ummm, oor second is not even 1 yet, didn't I just have him? We think we want a third baby, don't care which gender, but not for a few more years. I don't understand why our family is incomplete without a girl to everyone
My husband did taxes last night and I guess having a second kiddo improved them drastically, so now he's all about a third.... meanwhile I'm running very fast in the other direction
