If you have 3 kids, what sex are they and what order? I have 2 sons and feel like I'm destined for all boys. Currently pregnant, super early, and if this one sticks, shettles says it's a girl, for sure (0-3 or even 0-4). IRL my friends who have 3 have a mix, but my HB May 2012 mama friends seem to be 3 of one sex!

Statistically when you have two of the same there is a slightly higher possibility that your third will be the same again.

I have two boys and expecting #3. We'll be TG but I feel 90% like it's another boy. Two of my friends recently had a boy after each having 2 girls but I feel like it's more likely for that to happen than a girl after 2 boys since statistically there is a slightly higher chance of having a boy anyway.

@skipra: @Truth Bombs: I've seen that before. Is it because that means it's more likely your partner has more of that sex sperm?? Or am I being a science flunkie?

@winniebee: I just mean that for every 100 babies on average there are 51 boys vs. 49 girls. Theory being that boys are more likely to die so you need more to even things out. I have read about the study showing you're more likely to have a third of the same but it's a small difference. I don't think they know why - sperm or mother's body chemistry, etc?

2 girls and we don't know if our first embryo was a girl or boy but we could find out if we wanted to know. I'll let you know what our other embryo turns out to be when I know.

@winniebee: I've heard that sometimes the ph of a woman's body can be more conducive to the survival of y sperm vs x sperm (and vice versa).

this of course was back in the day before ultrasound detected gender! It was a happy surprise

@winniebee: Oddly enough my Dad is one of six boys (two different mom's), I'm one of three girls. My oldest sibling had two boys and I've got two girls. My mom's one of TEN, and it's well mixed up.
I do have a friend that has two boys, followed by a girl. And another that has three boys.

I have two girls and am pregnant with my third - we're TG so still another 16 weeks until we find out, but I'm slightly leaning towards this one being a girl!
In real life, I know several people with 3 boys, a few who had two boys and then a girl, and one with 3 girls.

IRL I know a family with 5 boys. DH is 1 of 3 boys. My neighbors have 3 girls, and another has 3 boys.
I don't think I know any in real life that have a mix, which also makes me think I'm destined to have all boys.
