If you have a boy and a girl, do people just assume you are done? I get so many comments saying "so, your family is complete now." When I tell people we are thinking about a 3rd they are shocked.

Oh yeah, I hear it all the time. "So you guys must be done now, right?!" It's annoying but I get why they would assume that - most people these days seem to want only one or two. I just tell then "we'll see" even though I really want a third.

Yes! Everyone says, "oh you have the perfect family! A million dollar family!" and assumes we are finished or will say oh you're done now… But, we are definitely thinking of a 3rd and who knows after that. People are always surprised, "Oh! Really???"

We heard that all the time, haha! But when I was pregnant with my third, I mostly heard, "well, it doesn't matter what you have since you already have one of both"

We were going to be done at two anyway because my husband deemed it so but people seem much more convinced because we are going to have one of each. I'd still love a third if my husband ever changes his mind but I'm 37 so he'll have to do so soon and I doubt he will.

I get opposite. "Two girls so you must want to try for a boy. "Ummm yes I do but I dont need anyone involved in my family planning.

I actually hear "when are you having another" more often than "one of each and you're done". We are definitely done at one of each though.

We still get asked all the time if we are having more., but yes, people still assume we are done because we have one of each. When I was pregnant with the 2nd and people found out I was having a gir, and we already had a boy, I got a lot of 'oh, the perfect family! You can stop now'. Which I hate, because people don't knwi what someone's idea of a 'perfect' family is.
