Before M - no pink. Keep it out of my house.
After M - she really does look cute in pink....
I conceded on pink but, there is one thing I am still not a fan of. Princess things. "Daddy's little princess." Glittery princess toys. Princess dresses. Princess movies. Princess, princess, princess!!!
If you have a daughter, how do you handle the girly things that make you cringe?

She has a few girly things, but I'd say 90% is neutral as far as toys go. She has some pink clothes, but she also has green, light blue, orange, yellow etc...I'm looking over at her play area now and see nothing that is pink, so it's not too bad yet. lol

I am girly but I don't wear a lot of pastels. I am warming up to most of it...even the I love Daddy and I love Dad stuff that we get as gifts!

I'm anti "big bow/flower" so instead I made P a bunch of little quaint bows. And she doesn't wear alot of pink, rather I prefer putting her in purple and other fun colors. I also shop in the boys section for her! Yep... lol. I've bought her a couple button up shirts one in a larger size to wear as a shirt dress w/ tights, and the other in her correct size to where with belt & jeggings. And I'm currently waiting for a cute blue cardigan from Children's Place to arrive for her. Figure it's something trendy that I'd wear myself so she can wear it!
We don't really do "princess" anything at this point b/c I'm not a blingy kind of girl to begin with & while she is "Daddy's girl" we aren't setting her up to think she's the center of everything. She does have 1 blanket that says princess that I use for her monthly pics but that's it. If she gets into princesses then I'm sure she'll have more of those things in her playtime (dress up & dolls) but I'm not pressing the issue.
She has helped me be a bit girlier though as I made myself some bow clips too that I wear to dress up my messy mom bun. =)

I"m not into princess things, however I will let her watch all Disney movies because I love them, so I'm sure she will like them once she really undersatnds.
She doesn't wear all pink, because one I don't like pink and two pink isn't her best color (she has her momma's coloring.) She looks adorable in yellows, purples, blues, and greens! I dont' mind if pink is in the clothing, just not the main color.

I am so not a girly girl and am having a girl. I dont "do" pink for myself. Never have. Was a huge tom boy growing up. However her room is pretty "girl'riffic". Lots of pink and what not. I have no idea how or why seeing as I dont like pink myself but have a very vintage and girly room and things for her.

When DD was under the age of 1 she wore a ton of pink, because they were all gifts. Now that I buy most of her clothes we go with basics in purple, reds and browns mostly. I hate girly stuff, like barbies! So I'll try and keep them away from her as long as I can! She can watch princess movies and play with baby dolls though.

@mediagirl: I am pretty much the same way. I can deal with pink but can't do all the princess stuff!
I was so upset that we couldn't find more Little People to go with a few sets we have. All I could find were sets of the Disney Princesses but I told DH that we were going to call them boys and girls not princes and princesses.

@Thehistoryofus: I'm in the same place, I just haven't met my little girl yet! I'm not overly girly, and I've never been super into pink or princesses or glitter, and I'm nervous that that's what we'll get as gifts, or that that's what she'll end up loving eventually! I'm already relenting on the pink--it's not on the walls in her room, but it's creeping into the clothing and accessories, because I don't want it all blue and green, either. I'm looking forward to an adventure finding the line between girly and GIRLY!

I am girl girl girl 100000% all the way and I cannot WAIT To have a girl and paint her nails, watch princess movies and dress her in pink and yellow, ruffles and glitter with headbands and bows!
I WON'T allow her to be a diva though - I have NO tolerance for that sort of thing and neither did my parents. She can be all girl without being a brat 
So I will definitely limit the catty sayings on tshirts, short skirts, immodest swimsuits, glitter/rhinestone jeans etc.

Lala= as comfortable with trucks as a tutu. We get muddy, play rough and dress up and do ballet. Perfect, right?!
M=not yet girly or a tomboy. Just a baby!

Im actually pretty girly and I really like pink on me and on my daughter. But I really do not like the princess stuff, or anything that implies that she is the center of the world. I also dislike almost every headband/bow we have been given as a gift. And I hate the branded stuff. DH's grandparents sent us a Hello Kitty outfit that went right in the donate pile. Almost all of my daughter's clothes were gifts so I just don't put her in the stuff I don't like.

@Mrs. Pen: Yes, the catty sayings on shirts drive me BONKERS! Especially on my nieces who can read and understand them. There is no reason they need to be going around saying "I'm 100% Diva".

I've never been girly. My mom said she could never put a dress on me w/o putting pants on under it because I would take it off. I'm warming up to DD wearing some dresses and bows, but I really don't like the princess stuff and I have no idea what to do when she wants a barbie or princess stuff.

I cringe at the thought of having a "princess". Gag. I tend to like more gender neutral things. I have no problem with pink, but you will never, ever catch me buying princess or themed(Dora, Cindarella, etc) clothes/nursery stuff.

@Mrs. Pen: We get alot of "hand me downs" from My SIL who's lo is a year older than P. we've thrown out A LOT of shirts because of what they had on them. I've always been really picky about DS's shirts too.... No "I'm trouble" shirts here!

Lol... I just realized that the party I'm planning for P's first b'day is "Pretty in Pink" themed..... maybe she had made me girlier than I thought!

My cousin's daughter gave us some hand-me-downs with glitter on them and some bibs with those horrible sayings on them. I sorted the clothes she gave us the moment they came in the house and the sayings and glitter never made it through the front door. Donation box!
