I've seen lots of people suggest this for early potty trainers, to have a small potty seat handy just in case.
but..if they use it, where do you empty it?! lol....I feel like it would be a little weird to empty it in the parking lot...but I'm not driving around with a full potty in my car.

We've never used it, but we have a travel potty that comes with bags, so you'd tie the bag up and hold onto it until you could throw it away...

Ours also has bags (or you can use plastic grocery bags/whatever). We've only used it for pee stops, and then I don't bother with a bag and just have her pee on the ground. Basically it just gives her a place to sit instead of squatting.

@sorrycharlie: we have one and only used it once - the inserts have a pad in the bottom so it soaks up pretty much all the pee. I tie it and throw it away when I can.

We kept grocery bags, a big roll of paper towels, and sanitizing wipes in the back. We'd just soak it up, sanitize, and toss in the bag for the next trashcan.

He he...I'm the mom who held her daughter while she peed and then pooped on the side of the road. I left it there...it's compost, right?...and it was in the grass beside the road.

My brother is 5 years younger than me, and I can clearly remember my mom pulling over onto the side of a highway so my brother could use his emergency potty. A cop stopped to investigate, and my mom had to explain that her potty-training son needed to poop urgently - I was *SO* embarrassed. I'm pretty sure my mom just tossed the potty contents into the grass on the side of the road!

It's not that different than wrapping up a dirty diaper, IMO. We've only done it once actually but we just used the liners that come with the Potette Plus, tied it up and took it home.

Pottete plus has the bags with little piddle pads at the bottom to soak it up. Tie it up and toss later!
