...Do you ever put the car seat in the stroller the wrong way on purpose? i.e. facing out, not rear facing. It snaps in the same way but there's a big warning on the side not to face the car seat out and I'm wondering if it's a safety concern, because if not, seems like a greay way to transition LO to just the stroller, no car seat!

Nope never even thought to do that! I probably wouldn't if there is a big warning label against it. Why not just put your LO directly in the seat facing forward?

@sunny: She gets tired of facing forward a lot more quickly than backward, and if she's in the car seat I can just flip her around instead of having to go back and get it. I just want to know WHY they say to rear face...warning labels should have an explanation!

I never knew it would snap in "backwards!" We always used the bucket rear-facing, and then put her in the stroller-only starting at 4ish months (for quick walks around the neighborhood).

@HabesBabe: Usually I use the infant seat for long outings, but it's so hot for her when we're outdoors. Plus, we will switch to a convertible seat in the next few months. I guess I was just hoping someone else had flipped the car seat around for the transition so I would feel better about it!

I think honestly, you should *always* have them buckled in, so then why would it be any different what direction they face? I assumed they warned us not to face out because then we couldn't see LO if they rolled/fell out....but shouldn't every baby be buckled in at all times anyways?

@78h2o: I don't remember a warning either, I just remember ladies on here and in the reviews saying "can't face out on Britax, not allowed"
Mind you, their B-READY which is nearly the same design allows users to face out. Makes no sense to me...

@78h2o: @TurtleDoves: Truth- I was at the park with her car seat facing out when I posted this. I realized I could flip it around when I snapped it in the wrong way one day while not paying attention! I guess it's true that if she's strapped in, it shouldn't really matter anyway.
