I knew that I was going to really focus on sleep with my second child. Getting them on a schedule, putting them down awake, etc. because Charlie's sleep was so bad.
What do you plan to do differently?

@Mrs. Bee: Definitely not rocking to sleep and just putting him/her down drowsy from day 1. I always wonder if that will even work. Did that work for Olive right away?

@Mrs. Bee: Oh, for sure - the sleep thing. Also, now that I know it's okay if a baby cries, I will stress a lot less about a newborn's crying.

@Andrea: it actually worked better when she was younger and sleepier. it got harder as she got older and more aware. but we have been putting her in her crib awake, and she's been doing really well. i think just getting them used to practicing going in the crib awake -- even if you pick them up after a couple minutes, is helpful.
i just thank god we didn't have to sleep train. (knock on wood)

I'm gonna make sure #2 takes a bottle. #1 hasn't had a bottle in over 8 months.

I would sleep train much sooner and be better about having more of a schedule.
