For us, it would mean we could get a new house in the next year or two, instead of waiting 3+ years.... which would also mean that we would try for baby #2 faster since we could afford to pay for 2 kids in daycare at the same time.

Very little difference for us. I might consider staying home instead of working, but can't say for sure. I stress about money, no matter what, so I doubt that would change. But hey, if someone wants to give it to me, I'll take it!

After taxes, not a whole lot. But my husband would say that anything is better than nothing and he's probably right. 
We would probably put it towards our kids' education.

not a whole lot. we live pretty modestly, but i would definitely quit my part time job to stay home full time. we could get our loans paid off faster too, which would be REALLY nice.

It would allow us to get into a new home faster, and increase savings but it wouldn't be a huge change. That being said, I would take it in a heartbeat.

We would save more but it wouldn't change our day to day. We haven't really changed our spending/living habits as DH has gotten big raises at work or anything.

We would buy a Bose home entertainment system and go out to the movies every once in awhile. We'd be able to give more to charity and save more for LO's college and our retirement

After taxes, I don't think it makes a huge difference... DH actually got a 25k raise this summer, but we still live the same. We are able to save a few hundred more a month, which in the long run will be great!

we'd just have more in savings, but would probably live the same lifestyle. Our incomes have increased steadily since we first met, but we still continue to live the same lifestyle. i don't know if that will ever change given our values on money.

It would bring us back to our pre-baby cash flow when I worked full time instead of part-time. We would have some extra money for luxuries immediately, instead of saving up (replace our broken dryer and fridge that is on the fritz). We would also be putting way more into savings.

Well, for starters I could pay off my student loans faster... and then make an extra one or two mortgage payments a year...and not have to worry at all about day care costs...
Yep, an extra 20K would be lovely! Not gonna happen anytime soon though, so we will just keep working with what we have

Oh my gosh... it would change our lives drastically. Eliminate so much stress, allow for so many more little luxuries and vacations, and allow us to save A LOT more.

We would find a way to spend it that made little to no difference in the long run I think. More $$ more expenses. Maybe if it were given to us in a lump sum at the END of each year...then we could do something with it (put all towards principle of mortgage or take a few weeks on an overseas trip...invest it). But if it were divided and just added to our paychecks we would use it up so fast.

DH makes about $30k more a year than when we first moved into our house 3 years ago. That means that I can stay at home with my LO since I was making less than $30k at my last job. The extra money helps pay the bills, and we are able to live comfortably.

For me, it would mean buying our home sooner, paying off CC debt, and buying big pieces of furniture, oh and when we get pregnant, relieving my fear about affording childcare.

Debt would be gone almost immediately, we could buy a house, I most certainly wouldn't have to work AT ALL (right now I supplement by WAH), we'd be able to save, and take family vacations.... 20k would make a huge difference in our lives!
