Technically we met online I posted an ad on Craigslist for a housekeeper, he was a personal trainer and he sent me an offer for a free session through my info on the housekeeper ad. I starting working out with him & then we ended up hooking up and now we're married
I think the best way too meet ppl is to just start doing new things, you meet new ppl and maybe one of them will be the one. To find interesting ppl you must be interesting! That said I know a lot of ppl who use POF and have heard a lot of horror stories, but know a couple ppl it worked out for.

We technically met on Myspace when we were 17. But I know some people who met on Match and have been together a while.

We joke that I stalked him on Facebook... we had a few mutual friends and I saw a few pictures of him at a birthday party I was supposed to go to (but didn't go b/c I was sick). I was feeling ballsy and sent him a FB message, and he responded by asking me out!

I met my husband on e-harmony. I was on there about a year before I met him. We started communicating about 5 years ago and met in early 2008. Got married in 2009.

A few of my good friends met their hubbies on EH. They've told me that there are more serious candidates on there, looking for long term relationships, compared to the other sites.

I met my husband on eHarmony. I also tried Match and POF, but didn't like the way those sites worked and never met anyone on them who was remotely a good match for me.

My husband and I both played a video game together 11 years ago, and met through that. Our entire social circle met that way, and we're all still friends 11 years later.

EHarmony here too! We met only 2 weeks after I signed up. It was only a week for my DH. I was kind of irritated that I paid for a 3 month subscription, but I got a husband out of it, so I guess it evens out, haha.

I met DH in college, but my brother met his wife on Match. My little sister met her fiance on Plenty of Fish. She likes that it's free, but she's young and cheap People who have used the paid ones like that it attracts people who are more serious about it.

We met almost 6 years ago on Plenty of Fish. Although I hate to admit that, since I don't really like that site, I had just signed up because it was free, I was broke and I wanted to meet some new people in the area I had moved to.
