Did you start sleeping better? I had read a few places that breastfeeding moms have some sort of extra bond/sense of their kid and wake more easily to all their tiny noises. Until I had to stop breastfeeding her last week I would wake up 5+ times/night... seemingly every time she grunted or whined, even when she wasn't awake. Now that I'm just pumping for her I realized that I've been sleeping through until she actually wakes up!

On one hand I'm feeling better rested because I'm clearly sleeping deeper. On the other I'm a little bummed that I lost that sixth-sense with her-- and it worries me a little bit because I think that is sort of why they say room sharing helps prevent sids-- because you wake up so easily to their movements. But there is really nothing I can do about it since I can't breastfeed her and she's already sleeping in a bassinet within arms reach of my side of the bed.

Did anyone else notice this happening? Or is it just me?
