What does your LO do? I used to try and shower once my LO's were in bed but sometimes I have to during the day for whatever reason. I'll put LO2 in the high chair in the doorway to the bathroom (my bathroom is too small to actually fit anything in it) and give LO1 my phone to play with.

When she was a baby I'd get up, nurse her, then leave her to hang out and/or play in her crib while I showered and dressed.
When she stopped nursing and I got pregnant we switched up our routine. Now my husband gets her up and dressed, wakes me up, and takes her downstairs to eat breakfast. While they do breakfast I shower and dress and then take over so DH can get ready for work. Not sure how our routine will change when the baby arrives!

The first floor to our house is pretty small. I shut all bedroom doors, close the gate to the kitchen, and have the thing on the bathroom door so he can't shut it. He typically watches tv, eats at his table, or plays while I'm showering. Lately, he's been bringing books in and sitting on the floor. I shower every morning with him awake.

I bring the baby in the bathroom in the rock n play, and let the toddler play alone in the living room or let her watch a show.

I put the baby in her crib, RNP or PNP and let my toddlers read or play.

It doesn't happen very often, but if it does, I close the bedroom doors (our bath is attached to the master bedroom) and put a few toys on the floor of the bathroom. She wanders around the bed/bath area and plays.

My kids are older (almost 3 and 19months) so they will bring toys and books in to hang out, or bang on the shower door and demand I draw shapes.

She comes in with me! She loves it.

DD1 gets my ipad or a coloring book. DD2 gets a nap in her crib.

She just hangs out in the livingroom and usually watches a show and has a snack. Our place is pretty childproof and it's a two bedroom condo so it's not like the bathroom is very far.

I feed and dress him then put him on a little rug at the bathroom door so I can see him. He just chills out looking around the room. When he gets mobile I will probably shower when someone else is home.

DS1 will sit in the bathroom or in our bed while watching his dinosaur videos on youtube and DS2 will chill in the bouncy chair in the bathroom.

I shower in the evening after DH gets home from work, so he takes her. She usually sleeps on his chest the whole time.

I shower every morning while DS has a smoothie in his high chair watching bubble guppies.
I just leave the door open and he is about 10 steps away from me so I can hear him. Soon I might trust him to sit on the couch instead of being strapped in to a chair.
ETA: he runs around the master bedroom while Im in there blow drying my hair after a shower.

I close the gate at the top of the stairs (I shower upstairs), keep the bathroom door open, and let the girls play wherever. Their rooms are on that floor, as is ours, so there is plenty to keep them entertained. More often than not though, they come in the bathroom and hang out in there whilst I shower....

I would put her in the swing.

As a baby she went in the RNP but now at 19 months she wanders around upstairs, usually reads books in her room, watches tv in our room or plays on the bathroom floor.

She watches an episode of Daniel Tiger and sits on the couch the whole time. I usually still shower at nap or after bedtime, but if I want to shower in the morning and can't squeeze it in before DH leaves for work, I finally feel comfortable doing so. Close the gate to the entry way and close the master bedroom door so she is in the child proofed living room and she just watches the show.

When little - bouncer in the bathroom. When sitting but not scooting/crawling I just put her on a blanket in the bathroom floor. Now she hangs out in the PnP that I scoot up to the bathroom doorway and plays with toys I only keep in there. I only have to do this a couple times per week though. Usually I shower before she's awake.

I usually wait until ds is napping and let dd watch tv in my bed and shower with the door open

My older two usually play, read or watch the iPad. My youngest (15 months) will play in the PnP for 10-15 minutes so I can only take a quick shower if she's awake.

He usually insists on sitting on the toilet next to the shower and talking to me
I encourage him to play in his room (which is connected to the bathroom), or to go see D or my mom (who lives with us), but mostly I shower at night (my preference).

DS usually plays somewhere upstairs while I'm showering. Usually, his room, my room, my bathroom, or the foyer. All the other bedrooms and bathrooms are closed, and the gate is locked too.

They watch something on tv in the living room with the baby gates closed. I don't do it often - only if we have to go somewhere "fancy" before their nap.

I usually shower after they're in bed, otherwise LO2 is napping and LO1 usually opens and closes the shower door and asks me 600 times what I'm doing

Ds1 gets to read in our bed or watch an episode of mmc, ds2 is in the bouncer in front of the shower. Rarely happens though! I shower at night'

I let the kids do what they want and leave the bathroom door open. We live in a smallish apartment though.

The older two just watch a show. The youngest sleeps in the RNP.

He plays in his bedroom (gated). I can hear him from in the bathroom and he's very happy amusing himself - we do this every morning.

I mostly shower/bathe at night with DD.

DS is 2.5 and I shower in the mornings while he is awake. Some days he'll sit in the spare room and watch something on my computer but most days he just plays in our room. We keep a few toys & books in there.

DS is 2.5 and I usually put a show on in the master bedroom so he'll chill on the bed and watch. When DD arrives next month she will probably be in a bouncer in the bathroom with me like I used to do with DS.

It's pretty rare that both are up, I usually shower when the youngest is sleeping if I haven't already. But, If it's just the older one (26 months) she gets the ipad and usually watches peppa. The rare time it's both, the older one goes on the bed with the ipad and I let the younger one ( 8 months) just crawl around my bedroom with a few toys out. I use the ensuite bathroom so I can see her motoring around. She will usually just crawl into the bathroom and sit on the mat anyways.

LO watches TV on our bed. Our bathroom is connected to our bedroom and I can see her from the shower. I just shut the bedroom door.
I have tried to start getting up and showering before she's awake more often because of another thread that mentioned behavior being worse when TV is the first thing they do in the morning. I loved our morning routine of TV/breakfast appetizer for her and shower for me but holding off on TV until the afternoon made a significant difference in behavior. Boooooo. We still do it sometimes though.
Oh, and the first successful poop in the potty was with her sitting there reading a book while I was showering. So sometimes we do that! I have to go fast though because obviously she gets over that faster than TV.
