So far I don't really like any of them, myself!

Pampers cruiser because they are cut slightly narrower in the thighs which works for my chunky boys. Huggies are way too narrow - must be for thinner babies.

Pampers were my fav until we tried Huggies; now I usually buy Luvs, though. Not a fan of Target (smell weird when they're peed in, but I will make an exception for cute Christmas prints) or Kirkland (they sag weirdly in the butt and look like she's dragging around poop). We cloth diaper most of the time but not at night, at church or on outings that involve diaper changes. (Because I'm lazy?)

Huggies. Pampers have a powder in them that gives C bleeding diaper rash.

Pampers. We've used (and really like) both Swaddlers and Cruisers Ultra. We also use Baby-Dry at night and have never had an issue with breakthough or blow-outs.

Following! We have cloth diapered for a year, when suddenly nothing I was doing could get the smell out, we switched detergents & now LO has a bleeding rash on her bum & I cry every time I look at it. We are expecting LO 2 & didn't have enough to CD 2 anyway so I think we are just going to do disposables from now on.

Luvs! Been using them since 5 months and have yet to have any issues. I used Pampers Swaddlers, up&up, and Huggies Lil Snugglers before, and my 2nd fav would be Pampers but they are basically the same as Luvs(made by the same company) but just more expensive.

My favorite are Pampers Swaddlers, but I'm cheap so we get Kirkland or Luvs.

@Mrs. Sunshine: that's such a sad story! have you tried 1/4 cup of bleach? We have been having the worst ammonia problems and that made a huge difference as of a couple of days ago. CD troubles are hard.

Swaddlers! I occasionally try out other brands/styles but always end up going back to the Swaddlers. Still going strong with them at 16 months.

Huggies because they have that elastic around the back to prevent poo-splosions!

@tororojo: I didn't know bleach was a thing! We may try that. Or we may just give up lol thank you!

We cd, but send 1 disposable per day for naptime, because our daycare provider cannot seem to get the cds on correctly and our LO is a naptime pooper, so she was dealing with daily blowouts.
LO is very sensitive to disposables, (part of why we cd), so I've tried a bunch of brands. The winner by FAR is Bambo Nature. Good for the environment, good for his skin, and the most absorbent by a lot! We also loved the 365 brand at Whole Foods for a while, but don't live close to one anymore.

@ballerinabee: we did CD for the environmental factor so I'll definitely be looking into your recommendation!

We like Pampers, Luvs and Target. Currently stocked up on baby dry and swaddlers then we will go to one of the cheaper ones unless there is a good sale.

Pampers Swaddlers Sensitive are the softest & were my preference when she was a newborn. We switched to Target diapers pretty early on though & I have been really happy with them. Lately we've been using Publix diapers & had a few blowouts.

My favorite is Bambo Nature, but Earth's Best is a close second and is less expensive.

We used to used swaddlers exclusively until he was around a year. Now we use either huggies or pampers cruisers. At night we only use Huggies Overnights because they hold the most amount of Pee!

huggies little snugglers then movers.
@anandam: have you tried all those brands?!
pineapple / 12053 posts
we are combo CD and disposables now, but i think target brand is awesome: super cheap and work amazing for overnight and my DD is a HEAVY wetter overnight.

Wow it's an eye opener how unpopular our choice is! We are a Huggies snug and dry family. We have tried other brands but this is the one we always go back to.
Though we haven't tried other Huggies diapers maybe we will try movers now.

We like cloth but when we use disposables love Target Up and Up brand. Cheap but work just as well as the more expensive brands for us!

Pampers swaddles sensitive for newborn and baby days. Cruisers for when they are on the go. Used to like pampers extra protection at night but now at 2.5 like Huggies snug n dry.

We used Pampers swaddlers when LO was small, we have moved on to cruisers, and baby dry for overnight. Lo has sensitive skin so I just stuck to the brand. I tried Honest Co and hated it, we had so many leaky diapers.

Pampers Swaddlers when she was a newborn/infant. Now Target Up&Up works just fine and is so much cheaper.
Also tried Honest for a while but they gave her a nasty rash b/c they're not as absorbent. And they're pricey.

Swaddlers until she started crawling, then Pampers Cruisers. I hated the baby dry
GOLD / wonderful pomegranate / 28905 posts
@Raindrop: I felt snug & dry was kinda scratchy? I'd always liked snugglers and movers better. I've noticed they've really upped the softness of snugglers now too! They gave pampers at the hospital and I was not a fan. I thought it felt so rough. Also snugglers in NB has the little indent for the umbilical cord and pampers didn't.

Huggies Slip Ons! They're like a pull up but have the absorbency of a regular diaper and it's so easy to change LO whenever, wherever! And they hold SO MUCH.
grapefruit / 4731 posts
@regberadaisy: Very interesting! Thank you. I will definitely try another Huggie's product.
Snug and Dry is soft enough for us but I have nothing to compare it to! Also the nb snug and dry had the little indent too for the cord. Maybe it's a Huggies thing?
I think we went with Snug and Dry forever because if I remember correctly I believe that was the only version of Huggies that had the wetness indicator for the younger stages? I could be wrong. It's possible that we are people set in our ways and don't like change and that's why we have used it for so long....

We mainly cloth diaper, but we use Up&Up diapers. They are super cheap and hold a ton of pee, which is great for my heavy wetter. I only have two cloth diapers that can contain her pee overnight, so we do disposables most of the week.

Bambo Nature. We tried Honest for awhile but they felt really stiff and she was having blowouts almost every day, and would occasionally leak at night. So we ended up switching. Bambo Nature are much softer and they hold a ton so no night leaks, plus they're cut a bit more generously so they work better on my chunky monkey. The Whole Foods 365 brand is really good as a backup, but I like that the BN diapers are Nordic Swan certified. (I'm a failure at cloth diapering and feel super guilty about having LO in chemical-y disposables so I get sucked in by the greener/more natural ones. But I genuinely like the BN diapers even apart from that).

@regberadaisy: lol oh dear no! that would be a lot of diapers. we've used mostly cloth alternated with a couple varieties of pampers, huggies, and luvs and haven't been thrilled with any of the paper ones, but LO has a persistent yeast rash right now so I've been using disposables more and was just wondering what most other people use. So many options in the stores!

Huggies! Pampers made her break out in a rash more often as she got older.
