What changed your mind? I've been thinking about this, and I'm curious. I feel like most pro-choice people focus on women's right to choose, while the pro-life is focused on the fetus's right to life, and ultimately their arguments just go right past each other because they're basically having two completely different discussions without ever realizing it.

So if you used to be pro-life and are now pro-choice, or have lessened your stance and are open to abortion in more circumstances than you used to, what changed your mind? For me it was two things- I moved away from the evangelical Christianity of my childhood, and I saw an episode of Law and Order that showed me how desperate some women/girls really are, and how an abortion could save them from devastating circumstances.

Please don't turn this into a debate. I'll ask mr.bee to shut it down if necessary. I would just like to better understand how people think about this. (Also, wasn't sure where to put this so I hope this is okay.)
