We all need glasses. My two sisters don't have glasses but they said they need to get them. My older sister has a very mild problem like me. I'm not sure how bad my other sister is. My brother's eyes are bad. He's had them since he was a teen.
Both my parents need glasses. My mom is near sighted and my dad is far sighted.
My brother definitely got my dad's eyes.

Both myself and my sister wear glasses, although her eyes are much better than mine and she only needs them for reading and driving.

All three of us wear glasses, I didn't wear glasses until my younger sister came home with hers and I tried them on and was SHOCKED at how clear everything was. My mom is almost legally blind, and my dad had perfect vision until this past year when he adopted reading glasses.

My mom has worn glasses since she was young, my dad wears reading glasses, and both my brother and I has worn them since we were kids.
Same with the hubs and his family!

My mom and I have perfect vision. (Well, at least my mom did until middle age. Now she needs reading glasses.) My dad and my sister on the other hand both have horrendous vision. My dad got glasses when he was 2. My sister got them when she was 7. They both have lazy eyes. My sister has astigmatism too.
So people in the same family can definitely have very different eyesight...

my mom, dad and brother wear glasses and their eyes are pretty bad. my vision isn't as bad in comparison, but i wear glasses and contacts. my sister doesn't need glasses, but i tell her that it's just around the corner!

My brothers both wore glasses since they were children (one with astigmatism and one with just one really bad eye), but I've never needed them. I got my better than perfect vision from my dad, who started wearing reading glasses when he turned 50. My mom has astigmatism.

My siblings all had glasses when we were little and I didn't. They ended up getting lasik. Now that we're older, my eyes got bad so I'm the only one with glasses!

Yep. I had glasses for a long time until I got Lasik done in 2010. My sister has worn glasses/contacts since she was in 1st grade.

I've worn glasses since I was a toddler and my sister didn't have to have glasses until she was in high school but ultimately, we both have to wear corrective lenses.

Yup, my parents and my brother all got Lasik done so they wouldn't have to worry about glasses or contacts anymore. I'm the only hold-out but I have better vision than all of them. My lenses are not coke-bottle thick. Theirs were.

Yep. My brother actually got glasses a year before I did in th 6th grade. My mom has horrible vision (near sighted) and my dad now has worn bifocals for the past few years.
DH wears glasses also, ILs also all wear glasses.... our future LOs will most likely have bad eyesight...
