For me, I'd want a boy first and then two girls. I would definitely want the girls to be sisters because sisters have such a close bond, even throughout their adult life.
What gender order would you choose?

Same! Boy and then two girls. I like the idea of a big brother and the girls being friends with each other

Exactly the same as both of your. Big brother first, then two girls who I hope could have a close relationship like my sister and I have

I like the boy and then 2 girls... but pretty much every combination I can think of (including 3 of the same!) sounds good to me!

I'd want a boy, then 2 girls. Or 2 girls, then a boy. Either way, I want 2 girls because of the sweet sisterly bond. Even though my sister and I didn't get along all the time when we were younger, we are much closer now.

I already know I'm having a boy 1st, so I'm biased.
But I would love a boy then two girls. But doesn't the boy need a brother? Man, maybe I need 4 kids ; )

@winniebee: I thought about the boy needing a brother too. But I'm kind of thinking a girl needs a sister more than a boy needs a brother? I don't know. 4 kids? Yowzers! lol

@banana: I'm 1 of 4! Two girls first, then two boys. Perfect!! But, I don't think I could convince my DH to have 4. 3 is his max, I'm pretty sure.

I've never thought about it but I think I'd choose the same. Actually, I wouldn't mind having 2 girls then a boy either. As long as the girls were close enough in age to allow them to bond.
We always said we'd only have 2 kids but lately my husband has been sneaking in the "if" we have 3 kids convo. I don't know if we'd be able to do it.

Girl, girl, boy. I think girls are more nurturing as older siblings, and I'd want my girls to be closer in age. Honestly, I'd want 3 girls but I know hubby wants a boy.

I'm having a girl first and I'm pretty happy with it. Would probably want girl-boy-girl?
Every family is different, of course, but I have two older brothers and they were never really protective. They just teased me A LOT!

@babylove: Before we had our LO, my DH and I always discussed the "if we have 3" scenario. Now it's "no way we're having 3". lol

Boy, girl, girl for me too!
I am the eldest of three. There is a boy smack in the middle and then another girl to round up the pack. My sister and I are nine years apart, but despite the difference we are the best of friends.

I think I would do Girl, Girl, Boy. For some reason I don't want the girls to have to worry about brother's friends wanting to date sisters!

Girl, boy, girl for me.
This is coming from a family that had 3 daughters than a son.

Boy-Boy-Girl... I love the thought of a girl having two big brothers to look out for her:)

Boy, boy, girl. We will be pushing it time wise just to have 2 though.

I'd want boy/boy/girl. This is how me and my siblings were and I LOVED being the baby and the only girl.

boy, boy, girl- I want two boys first so we can be entertained by them playing/beating on each other, then a little princess last. One down, two to go...

I'm with @pastemoo! Girl first, then boy, and then it's a toss up for the 3rd. I think if I really got to choose I'd be girl, boy, boy, but I guess the girl would be bummed out to not have any sisters.

All boys. I was nervous about being a mom to a boy, but I love it.

Girl, girl, boy or girl, boy, boy or maybe girl, boy, girl?
(Ok, now I have written girl so many times it looks funny!)

Boy/Girl/Girl for me too! But since you can't know, I actually want a girl first, just to know we're going to get a girl. We'd be happy with any combination that includes a girl, but I'd love to have two girls and a boy.

I would definitely want boy, girl, boy. Having the middle child be the only one of their gender would give them something special to identify with, since middle children sometimes have a tough time. The firstborn can be the leader, then the youngest can be the baby. And I'd rather have more boys than girls.
I'm biased, of course, because I grew up with all boys and have no idea what a sisterly bond is like! I never really longed for one, either.
I also like the idea of the girl being protected by both an older and younger brother...!

@MrsLMA: that's the same for me. I was the only girl with 2 brothers but I'm the middle. I would prefer to have it be 2 older brothers.

Girl/Girl/Boy for me. As long as we're getting to pick, I want the girlies to be twins.
