what would you get?
DH had the day off but doesn't feel like cooking. I have a gift card to TJs, so I offered to stop on the way home for something easy to make.
I'm not used to shopping TJs as a married person. I know what I like on my own, but what would you get to make a meal for two?

We keep a bag of the orange chicken in the freezer for emergency dinner nights. It's so yummy! Just bake in the oven and we dip it in the sauce rather than coat it. Serve with a side of frozen broccoli.

The broccoli beef is good too. And we love making pizza with their pizza dough - always keep some in the freezer.

I really like the Hawaiian beef. We fry it up and serve with rice.
Last night we had the Japanese fried rice and it was delicious! We put some salmon in it for protein.

We usually get the herb pizza dough, some pizza sauce, and toppings for our dinners-for-two. Hubs gets traditional pepperoni, and I'll usually do pear & gorgonzola or summat.

I usually get their herb pizza dough and sometimes the orange chicken or beef and broccoli. Their mini chicken tacos are good too - I like to dip them in guacamole.

I loooove the steak and ale pies. The pastry is so flaky and good. With a side salad it makes a great meal.

We ended up with crispy beef and broccoli. And I added a bag of stir fry veggies.
And we have orange chicken in the freezer
We'd done Italian and Mexican this week, so Chinese seemed right!

LOVE Trader Joe's- until about a year ago it was our primary grocery store.
One of our favorites is the Kung Pao Chicken, which we make with the Japanese Style Fried Rice. When you make both you easily have 4-5 meals (enough for 2 nights, or lunch the next day.) The mushroom flatbread is delicious, as are most of the pizzas.

@sandy: This looks so good and is great for a game day get together! How many packages of each did you use to fill up the party tray?

@Kimberlybee: so these are smaller party trays (about 8x12) and I used 2 packages of each. Tip: use a nonstick surface for the fried rice so it can get crispy but not stick to your pan :). Also, the chicken comes with an orange sauce that you heat on the stove while the chicken bakes and I like to throw in a few pinches of red pepper flakes while it heats up so it has a kick.
