No I absolutely hated mom365 and never even looked at the photos they took. If I have another baby I'll be letting the hospital staff know beforehand that I don't want mom365 to visit my room

@bluestriped bee: They certainly aren't cheap and they aren't the best photos, IMO. They sent us a few free (that are splashed with their logo in the corner). I didn't order them and had our own done about a week later.

Nope. They turned out terrible and were super pricey. Not sure what company/group did them.

bella baby did them at my most recent hospital - i really didn't want to get the pictures done at all (and the first time around we declined), but they came out great and we bought them! used them for holiday / birth announcements as well as frameable christmas gifts for grandparents and great grandma. they weren't cheap - maybe $150? but we got a CD of the pics as well as an 8x10

We bought one print from the hospital photog. I wanted some professional-ish (meaning better than I could take) pics from the first 24 hrs of life. With my second they really changed how they do them and it is like a mini photoshoot in your hospital room with backdrops, props, etc (if you choose), not just baby on a blanket like the traditional hospital photos!

With both we also did a photo session within the first 7 days with our regular photog. We do a set of first year sessions with her that 3 pics from get framed together at the end (maternity, NB, and 3 more sessions during the first year ending with 12 mo). We also get a large photo book done at the end with pictures from all the sessions that I love! It's not part of the package but I am so glad we do it!

mom365 took our hospital photos. I didn't think they were that great, but my delirious husband ordered all of them. It was maybe $300? I actually really like about 3 of them. It's much better to spend the money on a real photographer to do newborn shots at home.

They didn't do them at my hospital I was so bummed. I had heard they were crappy and expensive but felt like they were a tradition, so I budgeted an estimate in my maternity leave funds for them. Boo, I wanted hospital squinty red newborn pics.

Ours had a photographer come by I really liked a couple of them but when I asked if we could buy them later she got snotty and said "fine, here is my email but you won't buy them. No one does" so I told her to keep it and that she was right. I wouldn't be buying them.

I kinda wish I still had though.

We had bella baby and bought the digital images. They turned out really nice, especially some she took of us with my MIL and her mother who were visiting at the time. They were mostly candid shots rather than the sort of poses a newborn photographer would use.

We had mom365 with both. We actually like them... yes they are pricey but it was worth it for us.

For our first we didn't know it was a thing some lady just came in and asked if she could take pictures and we said okay. We really liked them and bought them.

When we had our second we asked for them and also liked the pictures they did again.

Maybe it's the photographer that works at the hospital that makes the difference? We had the same lady both times (3 years apart!) and she ended up doing similar pictures for both sessions and I can compare the two kids pictures and I love it.

Omg I hate mom366! Their tactics felt very exploitive. The pics were ok but super expensive!! They harassed me all throughout my hospital stay and then after! I still get their emails! I had no idea what was happening when they came in and if I had they never would have gotten past the door! We had a newborn shoot a week later with a professional - highly recommend that.

We had some photographer that came in the room but I sent her away without taking pictures. I figured they'd be stupid expensive and we were taking plenty of photos with our own cameras (both phone and DSLR).

We had mom365 stop by (standard in the hospital). The lady was very nice, just snapped a few pics quickly while LO was sleeping. She came back a bit later to show us the proofs. I didn't feel pressured at all since you can buy them online at your convenience; it wasn't like she was standing their waiting for me to purchase. They gave us a credit for a print and sent us a keychain, but we didn't end up purchasing anything. I probably would have if they turned out a little better!

Yes! We weren't planning to, but the pic turned out amazing. I don't know how they got a two day old baby to smile for the camera, but they did. Then again, I shouldn't be surprised - that's just the way he is! This kid will laugh if you so much as wiggle your eyebrows at him

@Anya: I didn't even think about this but now that you say it, it makes total sense. I remember them coming in and I felt like it was a dream because I was so exhausted. Luckily, after initially agreeing, I snapped out of it and said I didn't want any.

We bought our baby Bella ones both times. Second time wasn't as good as first but still used them for birth announcements.

Oh my I was so angry when they came into my room to ask about pictures. I had just gotten back to my room at 6am after giving birth and was trying to get some sleep and a lady came in at 7am. I was like "what the heck?!" If she had waited til later that day I may have obliged but I was too tired and angry at being woken up to even consider it!

They didn't take any of my twins but they took ones of Lilly. She was still really puffy faced and red so they are not that great. We bought one just to have it. She was much cuter at about a week old and we took some family Christmas photos at Sears.
