Our lo is turning 3 in June and she's pretty happy with either one of us right now. She was all mommy for her first 2 years of life. Then she became daddy's girl for a while. Now she loves us both again!

my Lo is 19 months and we're still in the thick of mommy preference..... I would love to see it even out more sometime soon

DD started evening out when she was around 2.5... and now she goes back and forth with who she wants pretty evenly!
DS is still squarely in the mommy camp. He is 26 months.

Dd is 2.5 and has a serious mommy preference. It has come and gone (well not totally gone) but part of it is she likes routine and I'm a sahm. Also, she had mostly daddy and grandma for awhile because I was sick for a bit then has pregnancy related issues too. I'm hoping it starts evening out soon... I don't plan on SAH when the next one gets here.

DS is 21 months and has been a daddy's boy since birth. No signs of it changing anytime soon!

C had like one week when she seemed to prefer dada, but it's almost always mommy mommy mommy. It's pretty tiring. But I sah so I feel like it's inevitable for the first few years.

@Foodnerd81: I SAH and my son has a very strong daddy preference even though he works 50-60 hours a week! I think its just one of those things.

@NurseDMB: hmm good point. My brother stayed home with his son for several months and he would still default to a mommy preference when my SIL was home. Which my brother was happy about but found a little frustrating.
Hopefully our next one has a daddy preference at some point I guess.

Both of mine prefer me. DD will be 3 the end of June and DS just turned 1.

DD1 has always had a pretty big mommy preference but it was starting to even out a bit and has really become almost 60/40 since DD2 was born. I'm still preferred overall but she's usually good with either of us these days and follows DH around as much as she does me. (20 months) DD2 is a week old so I'd say she prefers me just because I'm the one with the milk....lol

It's just evening out now that she has turned 4...before that it was very intensely mommy all the time. It's so nice for her to ask for her dad sometimes

I'll cautiously say that it's a little better now at two and a half, but it's definitely not gone! If DH dresses DS without tears in the morning, it totally makes my day!
