...nut (or sun is soy) butter and jelly sandwiches? For a while I still called them PBJs, but then one of his grandparents would hear and freak out that I was giving him peanuts.
I've been just calling them butter and jelly sandwiches.

We call it Sunbutter and J or Sunbutter jelly. I really don't like using PBJ because I want her and everyone around her to make the distinction.

@Mrs. Jacks: so we started doing sunbutter more now that LO is allergic to other nuts except slmonds, since most almond butter says may contain tree nuts.
But my MIL for whatever reason cannot remember it's called sunbutter. So she calls it sesame seed butter. Which confuses LO, but now he calls it Sesame Street butter, haha! I don't even know why. He has seen Sesame Street like twice ever.
(Not because I'm so great at no screen time. I'm so tired today I have dinosaur train streaming.)

@jedeve: not to go too far off topic but how did you find out about your lo's allergy?

It's my husband who is allergic so I use sunflower butter and call it that-- about 80% of the time. The other 20% he panics and makes sure I didn't buy actual peanut butter which is kind of silly, he won't eat the sunflower seed butter and I haven't bought peanut butter, well pretty much ever in my life since we have been dating since high school.
