Are you looking forward to them being home all summer? Do you know how you will keep them busy? Or are you dreading entertaining them all summer?
I'm feeling a mix of excitement and dread, only because school gave LO that bit of structure she needed and helped keep her busy. As long as I come up with ways to keep them busy I think I'll be ok

She wasn't in school but I'll answer anyway, lol!
It's totally different weather now here (in New England) so I'm kind of looking forward to summer! We can do a lot more that we really couldn't before - beach, parks and zoos more readily, my mom's pool, more outside time, etc.

We aim for a schedule. For example, Mondays are usually library, Tuesdays and Thursdays are usually pool, Wednesdays and Fridays are usually park or zoo with friends. Some art time and book time everyday, etc...

Yes! I can't wait for school to be out next week so DD1 can be home all summer! I love it when she's home. She keeps the baby busy.

I love that DD is home with us in the summer! DH and I both have July and August off because we work in schools, so she is in a daycare that runs on a school schedule too. I just plan lots of activities to get us out of the house. We do the library, picnics, parks, splash pads and lots of play dates. We also spend a couple of weeks up at the cottage.

Mostly excited. We have lots of things planned in the summer and are always on the go. We had a great time last summer. The only catch is DH has been working loooonnnggg hours lately so it can make for a challenging solo dinner/bedtime when I've been alone all day with 2 kids.
Daycare is thinking of offering a one day a week Activity Day so that would be a perfect balance...I'm crossing my fingers that they do! If not I will probably get a high school kid to come over a few hours a week to watch both girls so I can do groceries ... Or go to the beach solo lol

I'm excited b/c my husband's a teacher and is off too! We try to always make a summer list of fun activities to do.

This is more about ME being home for the summer, but I am pretty excited to have more relaxed days in my future. There is nothing in this work I love more than not having to wake up at 5:30 every day to get to work.

I've had both at home since the end of May and it's been tiring, but a lot of fun
