It took DS five weeks to roll tummy to back after rolling back to tummy (constantly). And he's only rolled tummy to back once so far.

Wow I'm impressed he rolled back to front first! My LO rolled tummy to back at 9 weeks. She's now almost 16 weeks and shows no signs of even trying to roll back to tummy.

A week or so to do it on purpose. She would do it in her sleep all the time, though! (Yes, we put her on her tummy before she was rolling...)

A week or two, but he very rarely does it, especially since he became mobile.

A week or so of her getting pissed and screaming until she figured it out. She hated tummy time with a passion.

My LO was weird. She rolled tummy to back at around 2 months. She did it for about a month then stopped. At 3.5 months she rolled back to tummy for a month and thn started rolling both ways all the time!

LO rolled back to belly first at about 3.5 months. She's only rolled belly to back a couple times (in her crib at night) and it's taken a few weeks now for her to do so.
I think it will be another couple weeks until she does it regularly and with intention though. She has always loved tummy time and now that she's rolled has refused to sleep on her back since the very first time she did it.
