Just like the title says.

My LO transitioned to 1 nap at 12 mo (seemed early to me but she was fighting both naps and bedtime and since we moved to 1 nap she falls asleep easily for both nap and bedtime). At first it was amazing and she was sleeping 2.5-3 hours all by herself every day. This was extra amazing because she has never been a great napper and has often taken short naps or needed to be rocked for naps.

After maybe 4-6 weeks of awesome napping she started waking up at 2pm (1.5 hours into nap) like clockwork every day, but if I went up as soon as she woke and picked her up she'd pass back out on me and sleep another hour as long as I rocked her. So, not ideal but at least she was getting a great nap and I had 1.5 hours to myself. Now the last few days she is waking around 1:45-2 and struggling or refusing to go back to sleep. So we're at 1.25-1.5 hour nap, for her only nap... at 14 months.

At night she falls asleep at 8pm consistently, and wakes anywhere from 6-7:30. (usually more like 630 or 7).

I feel like everyone else talks about their kids sleeping 2+ hours when they move to 1 nap, but do some kids just never sleep that much?
