How will you entertain them? LO1 goes to preschool now, only for 3 days but it adds a little structure to the week. I'm thinking ahead to the summer and how I can keep that structure going. If your LO will be home this summer, do you hope to have some weekly plans or are you going to just go with the flow?

I always keep my kids home in summer. I usually do walks daily but also Monday's are like shopping days, Tuesday's play dates, Wednesday's crafts, Thursday's pool, etc. it has made the last few summers go by so fast!

My son is starting preschool in the fall, but his preschool has summer camps during the summer. It's Mon-Fri from 9-12, so just three hours long, but they have different themes, and they do a lot of fun, educational activities. We're not going on any trips over the summer, so I thought doing a couple of camps would be a nice way to break up the summer, and also get him used to his new preschool before fall.

Luckily my husband's off in the summer too so we do lots of activities/outings - parks, aquarium, museum, amusement parks, etc. We'll also be taking a vacation.
