When did she go back to work?
My mom went back for her Masters when I was 5. She took a lighter course load and didn't finish until I was 8? She started working full time after that!

My mom started working part time (substitute teachers aid for handicapped kids) when I was 10 or so. She went back full time when I was in 5th grade...I think? She just got bored of staying home! Especially since we were both in school.

My mom started working part time for my dad when I started school so she could set her own hours, be there if I was sick, for field trips, etc. As I got older she started working more.

My mom was a reverse SAHM. She worked full-time from when I was a baby until I was 10. Then she quit and went on disability/stayed at home and was available to me. She helped my dad with his business also.

My mom went back to work and became a teacher when my youngest sister went away to college-- so a total of 29 years out of the paid workforce! But I'm one of 5 with a more than 11 year age difference between oldest and youngest, so she didn't have much time to get bored.

My mom started working when we were both in school. Before that she did daycare for a friend for years. Awesome for us, we got to see our best friends every day

Mine was home until about when I started high school, and then started working part time. She was up to just about full time by the time my younger sister finished school, but I think my mom felt like with her babies growing up, she didn't need to be around as much. I actually missed her being around when I got home from school, but I never actually admitted that one...

I remember being really little when she went back to work, but it was part time. Maybe around 4 or 5 years old?

My mom started working when my little brother started school full time, so maybe when he was 4 and I was 7?

My mom went back part-time when I was in 5th grade and my sister in 1st grade...by that point she figured we were old enough to be alone in the house for a couple of hours after school and I was so excited to have a house key!

My mom started working part time teaching tennis when I was in middle school. She didn't actually go back to full time work until I had my license and she had the freedom : )

My mom got very involved in some volunteer positions (well, they paid, just not very much, lol) when I was in middle school. She started a non-volunteer position after I graduated high school.
