...when are you leaving? We are headed to Grammy's (MIL) which is 2.5 hours away. We originally thought of leaving today but will leave tomorrow instead. I find myself attached to our routine, and afraid to disrupt it! Ugh.

My LO and I will travel to my parent's house on the 23rd (they live about 90 min away). We stay there for two nights and then drive to my in-laws on Christmas (another 90 min drive), then back home the same day.

We are heading to my moms - 3 hours away
I like to be in my own home on Christmas morning - so we will leave around 10-11am on Christmas Day

@Smurfette: Hmmm... I didn't realize it's maybe a Canadian thing?? It's what we call the day after Christmas!!! It's a holiday here

@sslm: I know it is the day after Christmas, just wondering what the holiday is for? I will google it. I just always wondered cause I hear people talking about it. I know they celebrate it in England too.

We're leaving late on the 23rd. My parents only live 2 hrs away, so we'll get there after dinner on the 23rd, have the whole days of 24-25 there, and leave on the 26th.

we're heading out this afternoon...we were supposed to leave Saturday, but there's some bad weather moving in.

@Smurfette: Mostly it's for shopping :P. haha. But it's not really a "celebrate" kind of holiday, just a day off of work!

We're traveling tomorrow. Then we leave on the 26th for a short weekend at home, then drop off LO at my parents until the first. DH and I go back to my parents to get LO and celebrate New Year's Day with them.

On the 26th. I refused to do LO's first christmas not in our own home. So we have to travel the day after, which I'm not thrilled about

Christmas morning to go to my parents 3 hours away. That way, we have Christmas Eve to ourselves! We did it last year too, and it was awesome.

We leave on Saturday to fly to DH's parents house, which is a four flight away. We're there for two weeks and I can't wait!!!
Not super excited though about a four hour flight with an 18 month old and being 34 weeks pregnant on the outbound, almost 36 weeks on the return.

Driving to DC with lo and pup on Sunday then continuing on to Florida on the 27th. DH's idea. I think this is a sure disaster.

@oliviaoblivia: you're going to be great! I drove to FL by myself last year, which is clearly a completely different ball game than with a little one. But I hope you can stop and do some fun things on your way down. Is there any way to scope out some local malls that might have indoor play yards or children's museums where you could stop and get a break?

We're leaving Tuesday evening for a 3 hour flight to Vegas then heading to San Francisco on another flight a few days later, then returning home on the 31st!
