We're traveling for thanksgiving, so will be boarding our dog at the kennel our vet runs. BIL's dog will be there too then we'll be dog sitting until they get back from vacation. Should be interesting having two dogs in the house for a week!

We have a pet sitter, who comes to the house every day, same as @Erinbaderin. She will send us pictures of the cats once or twice a week. It's great, we trust her, and she lives just down the street, so we see her with other people's pets (dogs) out walking.

We have a pet sitter like @erinbaderin and @Astro Bee. She checks on the cat, feeds him, and changes his litter. He'll still be totally evil to us for a few days after we get back, though.

We had a kennel lined up (our dog walker is just too expensive) ... Then my dad decided today that he wanted to take our dog...so she gets a week with papa! She'll still poop on the floor tomorrow when dh takes his suitcase out to the car...it's how she shows him she loves him...

Times when having a cat is easy
But we'll only be gone for a few days...we just set out an extra (large) bowl of food and water and she's good.

We will put them in the kennel. They get a 30 ft run between the two of them. They have gone a few times over the past 2 years.
