Anyone buy lighting from Ikea for their nursery or kid's rooms? I need some white lamps for the nursery and was thinking of going to Ikea to get some.
What about their floor lamps?
Let me know what you recommend or don't recommend.

Not a white lamp, but we have this Ikea star shaped wall lamp and it has been great so far:

@Rocker2014: Thanks! Do you use it as a night light or is it a primary light used in the room? I don't need a white lamp but I want something that is bright enough to light up the room. I'm thinking my nursery will need two lights (table lamp & floor light or two table lamps).

We have this one and the matching table lamp in both rooms.

@bluestriped bee: The brightness is sort of in between - It is definitely not bright enough to be the only light source in a room, but brighter than the average night light, more of a soft glow. When LO first transitioned into her own room around 5 weeks old, we left it on all night long because of frequent diaper changes, feelings, etc and we needed to see what we were doing. We still use it daily during her bedtime routine, and during times that we don't want the big overhead light (like the occasional overnight diaper change). We have it mounted above the changing table, and LO likes to look at it. For the price, it has been more than worth it.

We have a ceiling hung light in the nursery and it's really, really dim. Not a fan of it at all!

I have that one. It's pretty nice, I used to put a blanket over it when I nursed motn in his room to make it dimmer.
