Do you have a dimmer switch in your LO's room or nursery? I'm thinking about having one installed if it's useful.
Between this and my post on black-out curtains I fear it comes off like I want our baby to live in a black hole. lol! I promise that's not my intention! Just want/hope for a good sleeper!

We don't have a dimmer switch or blackout curtains (we do have blinds and curtains). I think a part of becoming a good sleeper is learning the difference bw night and day. I know a lot of experts recommend blackout curtains, but I never went for them.

Yup in hiss closet! Use it daily for nighttime dipe changes!

Yes. It's helpful when I want to check on LO before I go to sleep.. I don't have to worry about waking her up. Sometimes I'll just grab her kinderglo night light and put it close to her, and that works just as well.
We don't have blackout curtains.. In fact lots of light comes in through our screens, but LO still sleeps until at least 8. We're very lucky though.. and at 3 months she's sleeping 12 hours!

Dimmer is key!! We have a dimmer on our overhead lights but I also bought a dimmer that can be added to any bedside lamp - it's perfect for late night feedings - you can order on amazon or get at Home Depot.
We also have black out shades.

Dimmer switch is awesome!! My DH didn't think it was necessary at first but is now completely sold! I say get it! You'll like it!!

Yup!! We love the dimmer in the nursery for night time diaper changes. Baby is sleeping our room at the moment and I feed her in our bed. So hubs installed a dimmer in our room that has a remote control. So amazing.

yup, we have one. it's nice because you dont have to turn the light on all the way to get him when he's fussing at night.

Yes, we have a dimmer switch. I really could do without it. There's enough light coming from her white noise player when I check on her at night

Yup, definitely install one! We have dimmers in most rooms and I find it to be handy all over the house.

We have one and never use it. If we needed a diaper change there was a lamp on the dresser that we would use. Our dimmer is one of those remote controls and you have to hold down the button to get it to dim. Its stupid but an extra 5 seconds of a screaming baby and trying to hold down a switch never worked for us.

I really like having a dimmer switch in bedrooms (we have one in ours, and one in LO's room). When we're doing our bedtime ritual we dim the lights, and I think that helps LO get into sleep mode, and it was nice for night wakings/feedings, when we were still doing those.

Thanks Ladies for your input! We do have dimmer switches in a couple of the other main rooms of the house. I think I will like using it for late night feedings especially since the room has a ceiling fan lamp. Going to get our handyman to install the sliding dimmer switches in the nursery and master!

I have a small table lamp on his dresser that's not too bright for middle of the night things. Thankfully, my youngest STTN now.
