I'm going to come out and admit it, I stalk my registry. Like, multiple times a day. When I see something has been purchased I get so excited and overwhelmed with gratitude and love.
Seriously though, I need to stop myself!
Was/is anyone else addicted to checking their registry?!

Guilty. But I didn't look at who bought it and stopped the week before my shower.

I did. I saw a few things but then DH got mad so I stopped.

I am a MAJOR registry creeper.
Only one or two people have bought things so far, but I still check it a few times a week haha
Target understands, they make it so easy..as soon as you log in it says how many items are purchased and you can sort it that way. BRU you have to scroll through all of it.

Very much so! I just couldn't help myself. That way, if I went shopping for myself, I knew what not to buy

@Foodnerd81: I can't see who purchased on my BBB registry either. My shower is still over three weeks away so I am going to attempt restraint as we get closer!
@Bao: My DH likes seeing the gifts so he's not discouraging me lol
@MrsTiz: BBB lets you sort by purchased too! A few of our bigger items were purchased recently and it feels like Christmas! I'm so excited for our LO!
@Chillybear: I have an amazon registry as well so I'm keeping an eye on that for some of the duplicate items. With some of their items the prices are wonky (change often!) so we registered in both places.

@MrsTiz: Dont all the purchased items go to the bottom on BRU? BBB they keep them on the list the sort feature is helpful

@MrsTiz: I just checked mine. when someone buys off BRU the purchased item gets moved to the bottom of the list and the little thumbnail pic disappears. I do like that you can mark things as purchased on BRU (say if was purchased elsewhere) so people know not to buy it.

I LOVED stalking my registry. I loved Amazon more than anything because it even told me who bought the item.

I TRIED.
My friends all bought things the night before or the day of, so I saw *nothing* get purchased the week leading up to my shower :'( Imagine how I felt...
Anyways, I know my type of friends are cash/giftcard people.
I did end up getting everything off my registry plus lots of giftcards, diapers and cash gifts and sentimental gifts.

I was worse with my wedding registry. I wasn't too bad with the baby registry - it was just boring things like bottles and spoons and hangers. I knew people would get the fun stuff (clothes, books, toys, blankets) on their own so I just let them choose. I had all the big stuff from either hand-me-downs or grandparents.

@swurlygurl: We didn't register for much fun stuff, but we did register for quite a few bigger items that we aren't able to borrow. A few of them have been purchased and it's so exciting seeing them come off the list!
